Every order is freshly made and thus good to eat on the spot. For $5 you can have a choice of large size Laksa or small size with clams. It’s advisable to have mixture of rice noodles and oil noodles (round noodles in yellow) to go with the broth which is thick and full of the exotic taste of laksa with fish balls, beancurd puff (豆卜), bean sprouts as well as hard boiled egg. It is good for all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and even supper). This stall is described as one of the best Laksa in town and is worth the time queuing. continue reading

Laksa $2.50The laksa gravy was not rich enough. It was not salty nor sweet and seemed to be lacking a lot in flavour. The chu bee hoon on the other hand had a springy texture and i am sure it will go well if the gravy was good. Perhaps it was only that day that it wasn't cooked well. Service was fast so I will give it a thumbs-up but it was a disappointing visit because of the taste. continue reading

Got a bowl of laksa here for $2.50. I wasn't expecting much but surprisingly, it tasted not bad. It was moderately spicy and tasted rather sweet (perhaps too much sugar? could do less with lesser amount of sugar though). The amount of ingredients were also decent with a balance of beansprouts, taopoks and thin rectangular slices of fishcakes which made it look like there were a lot of fishcakes. Verdict: Will patronize this stall again continue reading

New stall found here and of course desserts to try it especially when seeing people queening up. Afraid that it would be too spicy for the children, my cousin I ordered for myself and then all the children found it tempting that they tried my soup and decided to purchase 1 more small bowl and 1 big bowl. The uncles also especially give 2 more bowl for the kid and just kidding and smiling tone, you all wash for me later? And as I dun take bean sprout and not feeling Like having fish cake for the moment, I told the uncle to omit this out for me and again in kidding tone, he ask hmmm why you don't like my bean sprout and fish cake but happy new year. That quite friendly. And though it suppose to be self-service, he take to the table for us , perhap just nearby. The environment is crowed but still managed to find under the fan so considered cooling. The taste of the nice that I cousin drink up my left over even when he finishes up his.what more, there shrimp inside the laksa.overall, calm is what I like in the laksa most of time, I must say it is sufficient and fresh. The stall is clean around his area. The price is also market rate for hawker centre so acceptable. What more , to my surprise , my cousin was lucky to have his order as that the final bowl of the day just after 1pm. As I heard, some more people ordered but sadly was told not the mee and certain ingredient has finished. So I am lucky to try and enjoy it before it over for the day. continue reading
