Gui Lin Food Stall mainly sells the standard economical rice food items with bee hoon, kway teow, noodle and Nasi Lemak. However, Char Kway Teow will only be available in the evening.

A good mixture of noodles and kway teow whipped among the use of sweet black sauce. The plate of Kway Teow had a consistent sweet taste with generous use of eggs. I like that fact that it's not dry but was kind of on a greasy side that one may felt "gelat" after sometime. Nevertheless, the plate of Kway Teow is still have it shining charms that attract people to return after consuming them. My friend is one of such example!

Had fried noodles with fish fillet, cabbage, and fishcake for $2.90. The noodles although a little oily, went well with the chilli provided which was moderately spicy and sweet. The cabbage was soft and nicely cooked. It was also slightly salty. The fishcake was soft and a little oily. The fish fillet was quite thick and it tasted better as it was still warm. Service was fast and efficient.

The nasi lemak is priced at $3.20. I chose kunin fish, chicken wing and fried silver fish. The rice is rather fragrant with a strong coconut taste even though it looks white and plain. The kunin fish is rather big and very well-fried. It is slightly crispy on the outside and the meat is quite tender. The silver fish is not too hard or soft. The chicken wing has a good taste thanks to the batter. Try this if you love nasi lemak.

The char kway tiao is priced at $3 and the portion is quite filling and satisfying. The noodles are not oily as compared to other places but it does not have the distinctive wok taste which is a pity. There are cockles, vegetables, eggs, fishcakes, beansprouts scattered everywhere. This will be enough to fill your stomach but don't expect a good meal.

This stall's beehoon always has a long queue during the weekends, where families come out for breakfast and mothers buying back for the family at home. This was a mixture of the yellow noodle and beehoon, with the fish fillet. The serving is quite large for that day - though not always the case (it depends on the stall helper sometimes). It is very nicely done, still warm since it was a freshly fried batch of noodles. The fish fillet was great as well, it is unlike those thin fish fillet where you can taste more skin than fillet. It is no wonder why the queue is snakingly long every weekend.
