It has been quite awhile since I come to this stall. It is a well known stall in the food centre and opens from 7.30am everyday. Each items on the display shelf costs $0.50 each, except for fishball which costs $0.30 each. Although not stated, but it is recommended to select 7 items for minimum order + a choice of noodles or rice. The aunty will also ask you if you wants vegetable for additional $0.50. I have selected 6 items + vegetables + bee hoon. The items are deep fried and topped with deep fried chopped garlic and chopped coriander leaves. The bee hoon and Pak Choi are served in clear soup. It costs $4.00.

The soup is flavourful, although it looks quite light.

The deep fried items are tasty, especially dipped with the chilli sauce and black sweet sauce. The lotus root with fish paste is crunchy and juicy. The 5 spice meat roll is full of flavours.

Overall tasty food. Except for the queue system which is funny. I get number 22. The guy in front of me gets 18. The lady behind me gets 1. No knowns why the aunty can remembers as everyone different numbers. Yet she can remember the customer is which one when no one shows up when she shouts the number and she goes looking for the customer.

I would think this is the most popular stall in this food centre. I was there on a Saturday morning. There was quite a crowd in front of this stall waiting to select or to collect their foods. Another personal favourite is the fried intestine and stuffed mushroom.

Glad that I could still make it in time just before 12 noon to hit this stall - the items get picked out real fast. In addition to the usual fishcake-stuffed yong tau foo pieces, there are also the minced meat stuffed yong tau foo pieces that are handmade and not pre-ordered from the factory. These are the popular items that are the first to fly off the shelf.I like to order the dry version of the yong tau foo pieces only, which are presented oh so prettily on a plate. I like to order the dry version of the yong tau foo pieces only, which are presented oh so prettily on a plate. A generous serving of chopped coriander and garlic pieces (fried to a nice brown crisp) are decorated over the pieces. I usually order a side bowl of vegetables in soup to balance the meal (so that it will not be too dry in the end).

The homemade chili sauce is pretty good, even though it used to be even better last time as it was more fiery-hot. Perhaps they have toned it down for the general public? The chili is now more dilute compared to my previous experiences.

Generally, worth a try! By the way, if there are about 7-8 bowls ahead of you, anticipate around a 20 min wait.
It cost me $3.90 for 8 ingredients plus the additional side bowl of vegetables in the soup. Depending on what ingredient you choose, it ranges between 40 cents to 60 cents per piece.

For the lovers of Hakka Yong Tau Fu, this stall is one of the most famous ones in Singapore. It has been well known for its fresh tasting Hakka style Yong Tau Fu. She will then issued a number tag and you shall wait for it to be called. You can choose to have these items with noodle or with bee hoon. The Hakka Yong Tau Foo has both dry and soup version. We decided to order the dry version because we felt that the picture will turn out better. The Stuffed Tau Pok (Stuffed Fried Tofu) was really crunchy and flavourful but the minced meat filling was a bit salty . My friend shared with me that people usually ordered the soup version. Maybe the soup version helps to balance the saltiness and make it a more balanced dish.

This is the first time I have eaten Hakka Yong Tau Fu. When we go to Ghim Moh market, my parents would eat there and I would eat something else. This time, I decided to try it since my parents always said it was nice. My meal consisted of 5 ingredients, including vegetables, fishball and many other usual dishes one would choose. My mum chose it for me. When the food came, I immediately consumed it. Well, it was alright. The soup was rather nice. The dishes were quite tasty. Yummy meal, but norma

It has been sometime since I last ate from this stall. I used to come here pretty often when my kids were younger. I like the fried selections that they offer. My usual selections are fishball, half egg with fish paste, capsicium, chilli and bitter gourd. I like to order bee hoon dry so that the fried stuffs would not be soaked in the soup and become soggy. But if you ordered more than 7 pieces, they would put your selections in a seperate plate if you order the soup one. I never like the sweet

I never like the sweet sauce in Yong Tau Fu, so I always added chilli only. The chilli from this stall is very nice and special, not the same as the usual Yong Tau Fu.

Has been eating at this stall for some time and will not give it a miss if I'm at this area. Their selections are wide and the yong tau fu are divided into 2 portions, the usual with fish paste and the Hakka kind are the ones coated with meat paste, and is my favourite. I usually have it dried and the mee hoon in soup so to savour both options in one go. It's really good as they even garnished the finishings with fresh minced garlic and lots of corrainder leaves.

And, this has been an usual favorite whenever i am craving for Hakka Yong Tau Foo even till now.

I started eating at this stall when i was staying in Holland and working near there. I am always here with my colleagues for lunch or with my family for breakfast during weekends.

The waiting time is pretty intense particularly during the lunch and weekends. You are expected to pick the items of your choice and when you handed them over to the nice Auntie for cooking, you will be issued a number. Then, you are to hang around that area waiting for your number to be called. If it is during their peak periods, the waiting time can be 30 minutes or so.

The Yong Tau Foo items served dry with the sweet sauce and chilli and with your choice of bee hoon or noodle in a separate bowl. My favorite has always been the tau pok and tau kwa with fish paste filling.

Strongly recommended.
