I could not quite remember what was the last time i had a Chicken Pie from Han's. It must be from a long while ago as i do not remember much. I happened to walk past and surprised to find an outlet there. Though i just had lunch but i still have a little space in stomach for snack. I decided to take a Chicken Pie to go. The price has revised to $2.20 now. The Chicken Pie still tasted the same. It is still the familiar taste that i liked. The puff pastry has a delightful buttery taste and rather fluffy in texture. The filling consists of chicken and potato bits with some mixed vegetable in it. A perfect combination for a good chicken pie. Though it might not be the best Chicken Pie that i ever tasted but i still enjoyed the old school taste quite a bit. An ideal choice for snack or to have it as breakfast and to go with a cup of good coffee.

Hans have been around for as long as I can remember. As a child I'd always look forward to getting my birthday cake from there, though that tradition did stop after awhile. I had the opportunity to takeaway Spaghetti from Han's, and the ambience has never really changed for the past 15 years. In fact, there is only a slight tweak in the machinery but the atmosphere, the maroon tiles and so forth still remained the same.They also employ people who are usually older, but now I see less Singaporeans working but more employees from overseas. The chicken sausage was absolutely delicious, though I felt it was too little (come mon' its just ONE SAUSAGE?!) and teh pasta was really too small in portion. It felt like kids' meal and i still felt really hungry after eating it. the sauce was chewy and i believe the ketchup was homemade tomato! Or was it even ketchup? Anyway, I wasn't too pleased with the longer waiting time but the food is indeed delicious even after I went home . I just hope they would increase their portion though!

Ordered the black pepper chicken chop set, which also includes a soup of the day, a soft drink and a dessert.We had to fill in the order form and proceed to the counter to make payments, and the price shown on the menu is fixed which already includes GST ;DThe food came quite fast. First served was the soup, drinks and dessert.The soup for the day is tomato cream. It is quite thick and tasteful, with sufficient taste of tomato.The dessert was a little disappointing as it was just an ordinary small jelly, and it isn’t very nice.The chicken chop is nice and tender. The meat is easy to cut and consume and it is not dry at all Topped with black pepper sauce, it is tasty and quite spicy. The portion is acceptable. The other side dishes like carrots and French fries are not bad too.The baby carrots are water boiled and is sweet and soft. The French fries are crispy and quite nice, just that it is a little too hard.Overall it is quite worth it and the taste is acceptable. It costs $11.80 for this black pepper chicken chop.The service is great too. We came in total of 8 persons and it’s the lunch hour hence there isn’t any 8 seats available indoors.They suggested that we have a seat outside first and they will set up accordingly before getting us in. They are really polite and patient.(:

Han's cafe is just beside Buona Vista CC and it located at the corner which it's behind is a bus terminal.It is just a few mins walk from my house Blk10 Holland Ave.I like Han's as it is a cozy place to have dinner for me. The small fans and air-cond inside make the environment quite comfortable. I like to have calm and peaceful place just like here especially when having dinner #Menu of Han'sLooks plain but yet still be a pleasure to the eye #The food orderedSpaghetti with Ham (Tomato sauce)Cost $9.80 (Ala-carte) ; $12.80(Set Meal)The sauce surround the spaghetti is tasty. But it was slightly too sour.Yet, I like it and I could big mouth big mouth and ate. Black pepper chicken chopCost $11.80 (Set Meal)The chicken taste not bad and the gravy is delicious.I like the healthy vegetables which is broccoli and baby carrots which they served with this dish so that the plating looks good and won't feel too oily.As me and my uncle ordered as Set Meals, therefore our main dish come with the soup, and drinks+dessert.The mushroom soup is delicious but a little spicy taste as too much black pepper I wonder. I believe it could be improved by put less black pepper? As the black pepper will also cover all the mushroom taste if too much. Cheers We get the dessert of the day(Thursday) is peach. Peach is my favourite fruit! I am lucky. Different day have different dessert I guess. May try on another day then.Thanks to my uncle for the treat! Han's food is not very expensive as you could get just around $10 for a set meal.For ala-carte, there is also Hor fun and rice just cost around $8.And most important is we save the service charge at here as we serve ourself.But the self service is very easy, as we only queue up for order, pay money, take drinks, take spoon and folks then sit down and wait for the food. At the end they served the food to our table.They served food for us but only charge the gov tax (7%) in overall bill. Good right? Never try the food here before? Let's go and try. Why not. >_<

Mrupupup just likes to eat. Hans Cafe sure has many types of cakes and pastries for one to eat. Mrupupup could not resist and bought their chicken pie, kaya pandan cake and their peach tart. All the items bought was in Mrupupup's tummy within a few hours! Yummys! Guess Mrupupup loved their pastries. Chicken pie was great with chicken and potatoes, eat it while the pie is warm. The kaya pandan layer cake was very nice and fragrant with pandan. Peach tart just one huge peach on top of the tart which was good.
