Breakfast at Han's

My favourite sort of comforting Singaporean breakfast: Kaya Toast and Milo. It kind of reminds me of the mornings when I rolled out of bed at unearthly hours for school, and this would be the standard breakfast.Out of convenience, we decided to settle for this at Han's, which was unfortunately quite substandard. Tastes like something I can make at home. Their Milo is also rather diluted. The Mushroom and Cheese Omelette was a little better but a little uncooked. Not recommended.For more food adv

Beef Hor Fun

Ordered beef hor fun to share with my mother. The hor fun got a nice wok hei. It fried together with beef slices and vegetable. The beef slices were quite tender and soft with lot of vegetable added. The gravy got a nice beefy taste. The hor fun was quite filling for 1 person. I requested to have green chilli to go with the hor fun. The service was quite fast even during lunch time.

Grilled Fish Dory

Tried the grilled fish dory set this time round.The soup of the day is tomato soup. The colour of it is orange and it is a little sour.The grilled fish was served a while later and the portion looks acceptable.The fish is quite fresh and juicy. What I dislike about the grilled fish is that it breaks into small pieces when cut and makes it difficult to eat it.

The fries are crispy and has quite a strong potato taste, a little salty though.

 This time the set meal dessert we got is half a peach. It is actually the kind of cocktail peach and tastes sweet.

It is $9.80 nett for a grilled fish set, which is quite worth it ;D

Service is fast. The trainee serves us fast and quite attentive to customer's needs. Taken into consideration that we have finished our soup of the day, he politely asked if we still need the spoon. Our reply to him is yes and on top of that, he brought more serviettes to us. Tables are cleared shortly after customer left the place.

Ambience
As it is near the cruise center, you will expect a number of foreigners dinning in that area with luggages. At the back of the restaurant, there is a long table, think its good for gathering.

Price
A decent meal with a decent pricing.

(1) Portion is small, for male, you may need to order another dish apart from the main course.

After hours of walking and shopping, my girlfriend and I decided to rest our exhausted legs and have a drink. We headed to han’s at habour front centre. I ordered us a glass of iced teh-c each. Teh-c is tea with evaporated milk. We stood at the counter while waiting for the guy to prepare our drinks. Apparently, he added some cover to the top of our cups and started shaking vigorously. Then he removed the cover and there were froth on top of our drink. The drink was awesome, it was so milky yet

Han's Cake..

First time trying out Han's cake. Bought this cake for a friend's birthday celebration. This chocolate cake is rather nice, not too sweet, but it is actually quite average. Personally, I would prefer cakes from bakerzin instead. Maybe not really to my taste and liking. But overall, it is still a decent cake, not too bad at all.

Personally, I would prefer cakes from bakerzin instead. Maybe not really to my taste and liking. But overall, it is still a decent cake, not too bad at all.
