I have come to Serangoon Gardens many times to find out that this place has a very fluctuating standard of service.I have been coming here for years and i have been hoping that its service will improved and sometimes i feel that it has been improving and it has been better and at times it has been declining in its standards of service. For example during March this year, i was heading there since one of my friends is residing around that area. A simple meet up at a relaxing location was ideal for a Saturday night! The service was sub-standard and the food was below par. A couple of weeks later i decided to head there again and their service was fantastic, very prompt and a lot of initiative was taken by the staff. Do take note, i will be very fair when it comes to service and comparison, with the crowd being about the same and the service staff being equal in strength. You can tell when a service staff is busy and when it isn't. Working in F&B, you might probably know..To further prove my point, i went there a couple more times because the "chill" factor was there, an array of up and down service was being presented to us. Just booze and beers were consumed during the visits. We ordered a constant however, and that was the nachos chips with the cheese and salsa dip.. Cold cheese and nachos do not really go well together and furthermore, the dip was a measly squeeze and when we asked for a top up with payment, it was lesser and the reaction was priceless...However, if you are looking for a chill here, just come order some booze and beer because the ambience is good, it is dark and there is English Premier League that plays on Saturday night. continue reading
