I saw quite a lot of people having the dishes from this stall, so I went to check out the dishes. They have fried carrot cake, fried kway tiao and fried hokkien mee. I decided to order the fried kway tiao. The kway tiao's aroma whets my appetite and I am glad that the taste did not disappoint. It is indeed as tasty as it smells. The kway tiao is fried with egg and beansprouts and I love eating the bits of egg as it has a nice aroma. The kway tiao is also delicious as it is both sweet and savoury. The portion size is good for one person and I was quite full after eating it. continue reading

I couldn't decide on the white or black carrot cake so I got half-half. Best of both worlds! The carrot cake was really soft and very fragrant. It was fried nicely and it wasn't too oily. The black part wasn't too sweet as well and I gobbled it all up quickly. The sambal chili is a good complement to the carrot cake. The chili here is sweet and slightly sour with a dash of spiciness. A hearty meal! continue reading

Ordered the hokkien mee, i didn't really like it ): The taste of yellow noodles was very strong. Noodles weren't springy at all and i think it was overly watery! The taste felt diluted. The prawn was very unfresh. Prawn meat was a little flaky and the shell was practically sticking to the prawn meat. There was also too little beansprouts and spring onion. The chilli was sub-par. Not really spicy also.I think i would try the other dishes that the other reviewers recommends instead the next time! continue reading

This stall fried oyster is really good, for a mere $4.50, you get quite a number of large and juicy oysters. The egg omelette is very fragrant and well seasoned. They deep fried the starch till very crispy. The portion is quite a lot. It is not too oily as well. I feel that the chilli sauce goes really well with the omelette and oysters. The oyster was very sweet and juicy, very fresh as well. it is pretty value for money. Yummy. continue reading

i must say the fried oyster at this stall is really good. Both the egg and the starch is fried till very crispy. Unlike some places the starch is just so starchy, this is not the case for this stall’s fried oyster. The entire dish is not too oily and the oysters they used are really fresh and sweet though they are not really large in size. The chilli is sour and spicy and indeed whets your appetite. So satisfying. continue reading
