The Hong Kong Egglet is a kind of egg waffles which has been very popular on the streets of Hong Kong and one of the favourite street snack since the 1950s. I always heard about through variety shows and also from food bloggers but missed the chance upon having it. Bought the original flavour at $2.20. It was so crispy like you are having crackers and can break it up into one little round egglet for easy consumption. This is indeed a great snack with that crunchy sound in your mouth. I do taste

Bought a piece of this famous chocolate egglet from this IMM outlet. Have joined quite a long queue and took me queue for around ten minutes before is my turn to place my order. At merely $2.80 per big piece, is cheap and great to share with another friend. The outer crust is very crunchy and very nice to chew. The chocolate flavour was really fragrant and the egglets are not too sweet and super delicious! The staffs here are also friendly too.

I saw many people queuing when I was waiting for my wife outside Crystal Jade hence I decided to order one egglet as well. I got the chocolate flavour egglet which costs $2.80. The wait is around 10 minutes. The bag used to store the egglet has holes in them so as to ensure that the heat is not trapped within the bag, ensuring that the egglet is not soggy.
