Ubi area is an industrial area where many coffee shops are located either within the industrial building or in between the shop houses. Since I am working at Ubi area, my colleagues and I will patronize different coffee shops everyday and have the cycle go around the following week. I will always have at least once a week is the roasted duck with roasted pork meat rice S$4.00 per serving located at Excalibur Centre.The stall is always in queue during lunch hour. I joined the queue for their roasted duck and roasted meat. The stall is operated by 3 persons where the main hand is doing his chopping sequence and 2 assistants to handle the ordering and preparing of ingredients. 1 hour lunch is in need of speed if we are joining the queue. But normally the queue will last approximately 15 minutes time to get your order in.The roasted duck meat was served without bone except for some unexpected blind spots when he is chopping away. The duck was smooth and tender to chew. Roasted pork was good and the skin was crispy. They served plain rice to compliments the dish and also their in-house sauce. You might need to tell the assistant if you wants to have more sauce on your serving.
