My main dish, it was going with Beef, Tofu, Carrot and Veggies. Heart-melting exactly, I was not exaggerated. It was boiling when it was served, the taste mixed together which the beef was very fresh and thinly sliced. Price at $15.80, it was worthwhile for me.

Palely plain from the photo, Chawanmushi gave me a lot of surprises. It was not only simple as what you saw from outside, but it did hide luxurious Crab Meat and pieces of Chicken Thigh inside. Silky smooth, the egg tasted little fragrance of Miso Soup. Pleasant trip, I will definitely came back again.

Ordered one plate of Sashimi Miyabe ($25.90). We changed all of it to Salmon Sashimi as none of us likes tuna or yellow fish so it's quite a waste. Calculated the price between this platter and 5-7 salmon sashimi and this turns out to be the cheapest. Ichiban Sushi is also the ONLY that allows us to change all the sashimi to Salmon. We also found out that this is the cheapest sashimi out of the 3 so there's really no reason to not allow us to change. The salmon sashimi is quite thick over here a

The salmon sashimi is quite thick over here and i love how it taste really good with wasabi.
There was a promotion going on and we also ordered this sakura sake to pair with the sashimi.
Sake and Sashimi is the best combination ever in a Japanese establishment!

Chill over this delightful combination and i believe you'll have a really good time here!

Overall not a bad meal though.

I love Ichiban Sushi's off peak meal promo! They have it on weekdays from 3 to 5.30pm. I remember having it 2 months back and they change their menu again! My friend & I arrive around 5.20pm and quickly made an order! Being salmon lovers, both of us ordered the Ishiyaki Salmon Don. The promo set consist of a bowl, miso soup and green tea. The salmon was finely minced and mixed together with rice and mushrooms in sweet and spicy miso garlic sauce. The whole set cost $5 instead of the usual price

There is always a long queue, even after lunch hours the place is packed with customers coming for its quality good japanese food. I will always order the combination meal that comes with fresh salmon sashimi. That's the highlight of the meal always! The teriyaki chicken tasted average, and the fried tofu is silky smooth. The meal comes completed with rice, miso soup, and fruit. A very filling meal! However the service is quite slow cause there are so many customers in the shop.

Craving for Japanese Food, therefore we decided to go Iciban to have our dinner. The queue length was still considered reasonable upon we reached there, we waited around 20 minutes.Of course, it was a curry flavoured broth with udon noodles, it can be simple as just mentioned or be served as a thicker and savory curry sauce. The potatoes and carrots were added inside the curry, both were cooked until soften. Personally, I like the Udon very much.

Ichiban sushi is one of my favourite sushi joints. This is because of its affordable pricing and wide range of different offerings from sushi to bento to udons. My favourite is the salmon avocado sushi and the Beef Sukiyaki. It is very tasty. In fact that is exactly what I ordered on my visit this time.In addition, there is also a loyalty card. For every $20 spent, you will get one chop which could be used to redeem sushis or $10 voucher or $20 vouchers. As I still lack of $2 to hit $40, I got t

However diners have been flocking to the new restaurants in the recently opened extension wing, so we didnt have to wait at all for a vacant table at dinner time on Tuesday. This branch is more cramped than the branches at Centrepoint & Suntec City possibly due to higher rents & smaller shop atea, ventilation could also be improved as our clothes reeked faintly of deepfried foods by the end of our meal. Service is no better than at other restaurants in that you have to ask before your glaringly empty glasses were topped up. Iced green tea was rather dilute & came at close to room temperature.

Food is average & standards have not gone up whilst prices of the bentos have risen by $1++ to $3++. Unlike my dinner mate I opted out of the bento & ordered the teriyakisalmon $10.90++ and mini california roll $4.20++. California rolls were tasty & coated abundantly with ebiko. The salmon fillet's size had shrunk & was slightly overcooked. Could discern the salmon's taste & because I didn't order a bowl of rice, found the teriyaki sauce bathing the fish rather salty.

Kimchi Beef Hot Pot is one the restaurant's signature dish. Soup base tasted okay, just that it wasn't as spicy as I have expected. Portion of the set is big - consist of the beef hot pot, rice, chawamushi, salmon sashimi, fruits and miso soup. The Sashimi is fresh though, and the chawamushi is steaming hot when served, egg is not too "old" (sign that it is prepared on the spot)Cheese Tamago is my favorite! Cheese Tamago is my favorite! I like how the cheese melts in your mouth and it is very addictive for sure. The sweetness of the tamago is also a plus point too.

Avoid visiting the place during dinner peak hours as the queue can be crazy long.

I miss the days of Genki sushi. For conveyor belt sushi, this place is pretty bad. Just could not taste an real Japanese flavour, no umami, no freshness. The sushi rice did not taste top quality either. There is very limited variations to choose from and there is an ala carte menu you can order from. The conveyor belt is more of a gimmick here - something to occupy your time while you wait for yoru orders from the menu. even the ala carte items were pretty bland and lacklustre.

Ichiban Sushi! My favourite sushi at Ichiban Sushi is none other than the inari, which has lobster with mayo filling. The lobster is really tasty and the sweetness of the mayo really helped to bring out the best of the lobster. There is a little bit of of wasabi which I personally taught helped to top the sushi off really nicely. The salmon skin is very crispy & There's some salmon meat too.
