Chicken wings are one of my most favourite things in my world of food. These are well cooked, flavourful, crispy and priced just right. Convenient location in Ikea Alexander is that you can go shop after eating and go eat after shopping! I always try to avoid lunchtime cause there's always a queue and the wait is usually as long as half an hour, so if one is really hungry and in a rush shouldn't take your chances on this.

I am sure almost everyone will agree with me. Ikea serves affordable and tasty Swedish food. Best of all, the portion is really filling. At times, I may visit Ikea just for the food, don’t really have the intention to want to buy furniture but nevertheless, I may still walk around if time permits. Well, these Ikea swedish meatballs definitely needs no introduction. And I do see why they are all so famous. Lovely texture and the sauce is splendid, even the mash potato served with it is great!. However, for people who doesn't take pork and beef need to take note that they are actually made up of those stuff. I believe they do sell halal ones at the Tampines branch. A less famous thing on their menu is actually their chocolate mousse desert. A must try.

I always love Ikea Cafe for its interesting way of ordering food and also its culture of returning-your-own-trays. It makes me feel like everyone is really civilised and considerate. Ikea Cafe's food always look good and taste pretty decent as well. But i'm starting to feel that the food is never serve hot, only warm. Perhaps due to the the method of preparation, food is no longer prepared on the spot, likewise the gravy and sauces are no longer kept at a optimum higher temperature. I have loved the cakes and desserts at Ikea but now, I am not so fond of the main courses there. I tried the pasta with tomato sauce. Basically everything was already prepared so there was no waiting time involved. The serving was generous but I found it way too plain. Ikea always surprises me with really delicious food. Every time I go, the menu will be different. As I went on a Sunday, the dish of the day was nasi goreng. I decided to give it a try, for only $4.90, I got a pretty large portion of chicken leg and a lot of rice. the nasi was really fragrant, it was not spicy at all. The chicken leg was really huge, it was really meaty as well. the meat was very tender too. I like the koropok, large piece and very crispy. The achar is good, very crunchy.

Cakes and drinks easily pick up from Ikea fridge while in the queue area for food. I get the Chocolate Truffle. This cake made from black Chocolates and on top of the chocolate sponge cake spread with some icing sugar. Overall, it is not too sweet. I would say that the taste is just perfect. I enjoy eating this snack with a cup of English tea. The price is $3.50 per piece.

Everyone knows Ikea and their meatballs. People love them so much, there is probably more people in the restaurant than in the furniture shop itself. I try my best not to dine there, because of the extremely long queue, even though I love the food. The dessert over at IKEA are displayed in the fridge whereby you can see when you are in the queue for your food! And it is displayed with the price tag and the dessert name there so that we know what it is. I have tried two but i prefer the chocolate slice one because it has rice crisp which makes it crunchy and the chocolate is yummy too which it is consume together. Whereas for another is a little bit sweet already and not really that nice.
