Dont really like the side beans that come with the salmon fillet though. The chicken thigh is good, very soft and tender!


Restaurant is always very crowded at dining hours, so be prepared to spend some time looking for seats.

I love going to IKEA not for the home furnishing purposes but to have a feast at the criteria, i am sure many share the same sentiments. My order would be pretty standard every trip: meatballs, chicken wings, mushroom soup and smoked salmon followed by the $1 hot dog and soft serve ice cream before leaving. I feel that the standard of food is pretty consistent and i really love the chicken wings especially, flavorful and crispy. A good place for a family dinner/snack.

Specially came to Ikea for lunch as I was craving for their meatballs!Look at the spread that we have ordered, and each of us only pay $11. My friend and I were very satisfied with all the food. the salmon, meatballs, onion rings and chicken wings all taste really good espcially the meatballs. I really like their sauce! will always ask the staff to give me more of it. the chicken wing is very well marinated and their deep fried skin taste so good.

Although Ikea sells ready-to-made furniture, home appliances and assesories, it also have a dinning area which serves really nice swedish food! Their most common and popular dish is the swedish meatballs! Their meatballs are served with cream sauce, sliced potatos and cranberry sauce. The meatballs are priced at 10pcs for $5.50, 15pcs for $8.00 and 20pcs for $9.50 . The meatballs are made of beef and it is really nice, with the meat well seasoned.

Today IKEA have sales, and we settle our dinner at Ikea cafe. Ikea Cafe is always crowded. Especially today as Ikea was having a sale, we have to queue about 30 minutes to get the food and an additional 15 minutes to get a seat. I ordered chicken wings, pasta, meatball, broccoli, salmon, mushroom soup. The chicken wing is just normal. The pasta just tastes good and delicious. The salmon was not bad. The mushroom soup tastes adequately good, I like it.

There was a Mee Siam Special, I like my Mee Siam sour, and it was a little too diluted. Taste was average. Chicken wings are my favourite here, it's crispy, juicy and tender! Not stale like it was left on a shelf. Freshly cooked. Thumbs up!


Ikea is the cozy home to the planners of homes. We come here often because there is free parking available. The place is huge with all the furnitures you can sit and play on without getting weird stares from salespeople.

After all the hypes on Ikea’s meatballs, I decided to try it out myself. They are indeed perfect bites of savory goodness and are equally bready and meaty. The potatoes tasted quite bland and I think serving mashed potato would be better. The savoury creamy sauce and the tangy lingonberry sauce complement each other quite well.

Ordered 15 pieces of Swedish Meatballs and they costed $8 which is pretty affordable for such delicious meatballs despite there were once news about horse meats in Swedish Meatballs.

The Pasta with Tomato Sauce was $4.50 and it was a pretty healthy dish as it was a vegetarian dish.

The Café was not very crowded on a weekday afternoon, hence, the place is pretty good for a quiet lunch.

IKEA is always a good place to spend sometime looking around and buying household items, and the dining environment of their cafe is good as well, although it can be very crowded sometimes. I had the meatballs pasta, which costs around $6. Meatballs were good and tangy, and there was enough gravy to go with the meatballs and pasta. Didn't really like the penne though. Chicken wings were sold out that night, which was a pity.

The nicest food in Ikea would be the meatballs and chicken wings! I simply love their meatballs... Their gravy is unique and thick and they put some red raspberry I think which when you mix it with the gravy makes the gravy and the meatball have a sweet taste. However, their potato should be cooked longer as it is not very soft and it didn't really capture the gravy in it.

 A must have in my opinion, the Chocolate Butterscotch Cake. Informally, also known as the Daim cake.
It's pronounced as Dime Cake not Diam cake. (Diam means shut up in Hokkien.) White cream sitting at the top of almond butterscotch biscuit base topped by a layer of milky chocolate with bits and pieces of crunchy almond nuts.

Give me a Daim cake and I'll be more than happy to shut up and enjoy the cake!

 Almond Cake. An almond base cake enveloped by a layer of buttercream and douse in a heap of roasted almond... It's very moist and chunky but unlike the Daim cake, this cake here isn't very sweet. I expected a strong almondish taste but it didn't happen. Maybe the sweeter Daim cake may have overpower my taste buds...

 If cakes and desserts doesn't interest you, how about having cinnamon roll over a cup of coffee? At $1 for having both, it definitely worth the money. But as with MOST cheap stuffs, don't hold too much expectations from it alright?

 Mushroom Soup. Every spoonful of the creamy soup is always accompanied by a considerable amount of mushrooms. I've this problem when ordering soup. After the first few spoonful, I would just asked myself why in the first place I get myself a bowl of soup when I could use the money to get myself an extra cake?

If you ever wanna have simple and cheap Swedish cuisine, why not give Ikea a try?

Was really surprised to find waffles on the menu when I came here for breakfast the other day. Surprisingly there are quite a number of offerings available even for breakfast. The waffles are quite tasty being pretty light and fluffy with good taste. Would have been much better if it was served warm though, heating it up momentarily would have made it much more delicious.

We have all heard of ikea's meatballs and chicken wings but how does its desert and other dishes fare? So I have decided to be adventurous and try all their cakes and pasta. The verdict: It is not that nice. Their cakes have a weird taste (not sweet enough to be called a dessert.) The only edible one would be the dark chocolate cake- the others are either not sweet or too sweet. Also the pasta is cold and bland. So, please stick to meatball the next time you visit ikea
