The egg tart is very fresh and warm; however, I think the egg itself is not juicy enough.. still quite good! The congee is quite good... century egg, and pork... not bad....not as good as the one at imperial treasure (Cantonese Cuisine). Prawn is very fresh excellent! It has translucent skin - a must order! Love this so much!

The chrysanthemum tea is quite bland in my opinion.

This is quite nice... fresh and hot.. Crispy on the outside.. the chive inside is nice! A bit oily! But I like it!

We ordered several dishes and shared them with white rice.

Crispy large intestines $8.50++, the skin was delightfully crispy and the center is tender and well marinated. A perfect dish to kick start our meal.

Roasted combination platter $22++ for 3 items of your choice. We had pork belly, roast duck and char siew. These were good, we especially loved the crackling roast pork belly!

Crispy squid with salted egg yolk $16++, ooooh we adored the thick creamy salted egg yolk paste coated around the crispy battered squid. The squid was fresh and springy, thumbs up.

Claypot tofu w/ seafood $20++, a nice healthy dish to balance off the greasy fried/grilled dishes we're having. The generous portion of seafood was fresh...the prawns were really huge! Tofu was soft and soft smooth as well...delish.

Claypot chicken w/ taro in coconut sauce $16++. We made a mistake with this one, the creamy coconut sauce was too jerlat...we didn't managed to finish this dish.

We wiped out everything accept the last dish. Food quality here is really good and the HK roast meats are rather authentic. Prices are on the steep side though. I would recommend this place for family gatherings with older folks who are fussy about food quality.

3 BBQ Combinations - Roast Pork, Roast Duck & Char Siew. All's good but I reckon next time I will just order the Roast Pork cos I didn't have enough & can't get enough of it. Even the little girl who is with us can't get enough of the roast pork!

Chicken with Yam in Claypot. It was simmered with coconut milk & it taste kinda wired. It tastes like bur-bur-cha-cha! By the way, the lady taking our orders had already pre-warned us that it tasted like bur-bur-cha-cha, haha!

The Zhu Chang Fen was steaming hot. It tasted very smooth and slippery in mouth with oil coating in between every layer of Zhu Chang Fen.

Overall, the prices of their dishes were affordable and their offerings tasted as good as Crystal Jade Kitchen.

Imperial Treasure really serves very delicious dim sum. I especially found their Baked Bolo Char Siew Bun really delicious. the pastry was so fragrant, every bite you take there is this buttery tasty. it practically crumbles in your mouth. the char siew was really delicious, not only was it tasty, it was not too sweet and does not have too many fatty meat. each serving has three buns and the size of each bun was fairly large too so it was pretty filling.

The dim sum offerings at Imperial Treasure and notably not very extensive, but all the classics are covered and each dish is done well. One dish that was good was the Fried Shrimp Dumplings filled to the brim with fresh prawns and minced pork. The skin was also crunchy and delicious and the mayo went very well with this unhealthy dish. It was pretty pricey though about $5 for only 3 pieces.

"Sorry, we are closed" are the four words that hit me hard when the service staff at Taste Paradise told us. To be honest, we did went all the way to town to try their highly acclaimed Custard Bun and Baked BBQ Pork Pastry. My insatiable craving for good dim sum was growing gradually, I whipped out my iPhone immediately, punched in "best dim sum in Orchard Road", and lo-and-behold! Imperial Treasure came out next.

Establishing their first restaurants of Imperial Treasure in 2004, it has since garnered numerous ravings and media interviews, and has opened more than 10 eateries and bakeries under Imperial Treasure's trademark, serving authentic Chinese cuisine with great passion.

Looking at their extensive lists of Shanghai/Hong Kong dim sum, Xiao Long Bao (S$4.80 for 4) struck my eyes like a pretty girl across the street (okay, this makes no sense). I mean, who wouldn't love these delicately crafted steamed pork dumplings? Their version has a smooth bouncy texture to the dumpling skin, which is thin, yet strong enough to hold the succulent fillings in. And as with all the good food - One is never enough.

Egg Tarts (S$3.30 for 3), Fried Carrot Cake (S$4.20 for 3) with radish chunks and Siew Mai (S$4.80 for 4) are good, especially the former which presented my kind of flaky crust with soft, pudding-like egg custard. As for the latter, the ones at 126 Eating House still reigns in my best Siew Mai list (well, if there is).

Beside Siew Mai, Shrimp Dumplings or better known as Har Gau (S$5 for 4) are a necessity when it comes to Dim Sum. A good Har Gau's wrapping must be thin and translucent, yet be sturdy enough not to break when picked up nor stick to the paper. Wrapped together with the right amount of fillings, this dish clearly demonstrates the chef's skills. It is official, this is the best Har Gau I have ever had.

Happiness is defined when you tear gently into the Custard Bun (S$4.20 for 3) and beautiful, luscious yellow custard flows out slowly. You caught a whiff of custard and decided to sink your teeth in one. Or do you bite into it straight away, leaving a delicious mess of custard? But in any way, Imperial Treasure definitely know how to make your day with a custard bun!

All in all, Imperial Treasure is definitely a keeper and has no doubt, secured one of the spots in Best Dim Sum in Singapore. Fuss-free, accessible and affordable dim sum fix? This is it.

i went to imperial treasure for their famous congee. They serve absolutely delicious congee there. I ordered the pork congee and a portion of the gong bao chicken. the gong bao chicken is very strong in flavor with savoury dried chilli sauce. The congee on the other hand is much lighter in taste so this two combination goes very well together. The chicken from the gong bao chicken is so tender and succulent. The congee is so smooth, you can just swallow it. it was just delicious.

On cold and rainy days, the best place to have some comforting Chicken Soup is at Imperial Treasure. They have few outlets but I usually visit the one at ION. I don't take much starch, but their handmade ramen is not too bad either. I will usually take a spoon of ramen and soak it in the soup before eating it. Try it the next time you're there! The service staff is made up of exceptionally friendly aunties and one of them even offered me a glass of warm water when they heard me coughing (I had a bad cough that day).

If you want to pamper yourself and want to have a good lunch then you must go and try their roasted duck and Roasted pork pastry.
