I love egg prata and even more so when they cook it like a "bomb" where by the egg is laid out like a sunny side up! And cooked only on one side so instead of a normal egg prata that has the egg mixed into the prata. This is like a kosong/plain prata with an egg on the other side and the egg yolk will still be runny! Of course this requires you to give the cook some instructions but they understood my order and made one to perfection! For $1.20, this is my definition of a happy breakfast!

The star of the south canteen here at nyp... The springleaf prata is in nyp! 70cents for a plain crispy prata with curry gravy!! super crispy and not dripping in oil!! $1.20 for prata with egg or 90cents for prata with onion. Cheap and super yummy! but you do have to queue for awhile.. Even in the early morning before classes start, the queue takes at least 10minutes. You order the prata on the right and you queue on the left to pay and collect your prata.

I had lunch again at the North Canteen again. The Indidan Food stall has changed hands over the course of my school years and finally I got to try the food made by a different stallholder.I ordered cheese and plain prata. Contrary to what I have heard, I think the pratas are quite nice. They are toasty and crispy. I also love the chicken curry with a little bit of spiciness. This is my first time eating cheese prata so I didn't know what to expect. There wasn't much cheese bits which is fortunate

This is my first time eating cheese prata so I didn't know what to expect. There wasn't much cheese bits which is fortunate because the cheese is slighly overpowering. It's an unusual combination and I think I would return to eat the kosong prata but not the cheese prata.

It has been awhile since I have last eaten at this stall.Nasi Goreng ($2.70)This plate of fried rice comes with a lot of vegetables in it. It tastes not bad but is too spicy for me.Milk Prata ($1.60)It is my first time having this version of roti prata. It tastes crispy on the outside but soft and sweet inside. Kind of reminding me of French Toast soaked in thick batter.

This time having Mutton Murtabak ($3.20) from the Indian stall. As usual it is a big mess queuing here, even when the queue is much shorter than usual. Thought of having this, as I spot the cook has just made this. Hopefully he has messed up his order again then I will be served first. But not to my luck. Very crispy but feel that the filling tastes not much different from the chicken version one.

Tissue Roti Prata ($1) and Chicken Biryani ($2.70)At first thought the queue is short, so join the queue. Actually the order queue is short, but the queue waiting for food is very messy. It seems that the orders are mixed up. At first order something else, but end up with the above. Very thin and crispy prata. The biryani is very big amount, with very tender chicken.

The fragrance of this plate of brayani jusr kept my mouth watering and it whipped my appetite as the rice goes so well with the other indian dishes that the stall serves. Love that the rice is all evenly covered with the spices and that no white rice was seen unlike some restaurants that serves Brayani. the mutton curry goes really well with the rice and it just keeps leaving you wanting for more!

At first I thought this stall will be fast as the queue is short. But the staffs mess up the orders of a number of people and cannot catch up with the orders. Finally got my order of Bee Hon Goreng ($2.70). The fried noodles tastes rather spicy. For me, need the sweet tomato sauce on the side of the plate to balance the spiciness. The fried noodles tastes of wok taste with simple items such beancurd and green leafy vegetables.

Another lunch at Nanyang Poly's North Canteen. This time having chicken murtabak ($3.20) from the Indian stall. Freshly made on the spot. You could see that the cook take pride in cooking, making sure the murtabak is nicely shaped, chopping off the uneven parts while cooking. Very crispy made. The filling is just nice, not too salty. The egg is spread evenly across.

This is how our school prata looks like. Looks delicious huh?! :] But if you were to stand there and see the uncle made the prata you would somehow doesn't really enjoy your food later on. Why? The hygienic level is superr low! He used his oily hand to take money and then touch the prata :{ Very unpleasant to see. However, if you ignore the making prata process, you would love the prata a lot. As the egg is evenly distributed and it's very crispy outside yet soft inside :}I don't dare

Hands down, my most favourite prata stall! I love how crunchy their normal plain prata is! Their egg prata is also one of my favourite. It’s rectangular in shape and big, and the egg is placed right at the center. My personal favourite! With their wide variety of prata, from chocolate to strawberry, you’ll surely come back for more!

Pratas bought at NYP North Canteen Indian food stall Sudden craving for pratas as i'm quite a curry lover too. So i headed down to north part of the school and bought two pieces of pratas. It was quite filling though the size is not very big. The curry gravy is also very fragrant and flavourful.
