Look into the queue and the surrounding tables, you will get to see many Maciks and Pakciks. The stall menu has only 4 items, Mee Rebus, Soto Ayam, Mee Soto and chicken Porridge.We hardly get to have $2.50 per bowl nowadays and in fact, most of the minimum price in a hawker centre is about $3. I had topped up my bowl of Mee Soto with Begedil. The Begedil comes in a round shape size like a fishball and was rather ordinary. However, talking about the Mee Soto, the soup has a very old school taste and to my liking.Even though the portion was $2.50, patrons are not short-changed on the amount of shredded chicken.We bought another popular item on the menu too, Mee Rebus and topped it up with 2 begedils. The sweet peanut gravy too has a familiar old school taste of childhood and its really comforting.Comparing the price per item, I would say the food is worth the queue even though its the best I had around.
