I went to Jack's Place for their executive lunch set as a birthday celebration. I ordered the beef steak executive set. It came with baked potato, carrots and corn on a hotplate. I had it medium rare however as it was placed on a hotplate, it somehow became medium. Maybe next time I should have it rare. As with medium steak, the texture will not be so tender. It was a weekday lunch and we went to the Ang Mo Kio outlet of Jack's Place for the lunch promotion. The promotions are very value for money as it includes a drink - tea/ coffee, main course and a dessert.The outlet at Ang Mo Kio was quite big and it was not crowded when we arrived. The staff lead us to our table promptly. I settled for the beef steak to be done medium rare. It was quite good and the portion was quite generous too. Let me recommend this Oreo Cheesecake from Jack's Place which I bought for a friends's birthday. I only have positive comments for it.It is made with real cheese but it is not too thick and it tends to melt in your mouth. The cheese is also filled with Oreo cookies bits with the base consists of cookie crumbs.I am a fan of cheesecakes and I have tried many different recipes but I totally fall in love with this. Try it out and judge yourself.
