I was here to relax and chill out on a late weekday afternoon after book shopping at popular bookstore upstairs.I really love this outlet,it is very cozy and quiet there was not much people around tea time.I ordered 1 mango cake,1 cheese cake and a scoop of chocolate ice cream.I enjoyed eating the yummy cakes. My iced water was refilled promptly. And i really love the elderly waitress there, she is very very friendly and passionate about her job.She makes dining at this place an extra happy experience. continue reading

Jack's place has been around for the longest time and their standards have remained consistent over the years. The lobster bisque is flavourful with chunky bits of lobster flesh to chew on while the escargots' strong garlic flavour are a delight. Steaks-wise, the quality is decent but nothing to shout about. If you want a place for a Western meal with the family and with a home-y feel, this is where you should go. continue reading

The FoodThis steak of mine was good as expected. The baked potato at the side matched really well with the bacon bits and cream sauce. I really like it a lot. The PriceThe price of my lunch was reasonable as I ordered the set lunch, which includes soup of the day, coffee/tea and dessert of the day. This is a really good deal!!!!!The AmbianceThe ambiance was great and the service was good. continue reading

Jack's Place is truly a family place, although it has a lot of outlet island wide - it's the brand colour and the furnishing that makes us feel welcome. It was crowded as we entered past lunch time on a Sunday. I did see a few business associate having their office gathering discussing business on a light note.Jack's Place price it's food at a very reasonable rate and offering value set meal with soup and drink. The orange is not diluted and the mushroom soup is just nice not too creamy.Chicken Chop was great not too oily. What I like most about Jack's Place is the Singaporean taste favour that they take into consideration. This is hor fun style spaghetti, GOOD. You have to try! continue reading

It was lunchtime and i decided to drop by Bras Basah Complex's Jack's Place to have lunch with my frens. We were really hungry but luckily there were seats available. The restaurant was crowded, so we quickly ordered as we didnt want to wait so long. Luckily, the food came quite fast, though our drinks were served really late. The great thing is that they serve garlic bread to everyone when we were seated, so at least we could munch on something before our fd came, and it also helps lesser hunger pangs, haha! But then, mayb they shld serve other types of bread, since nt everyone enjoys eating garlic bread, unlike me! But the garlic bread here is not really nice i feel, cos it's not crispy, more of hard. When my soup arrived, guess wat i saw? A heart-shaped like pattern formed on my soup. Hahaha! Nice. The soup was pretty to my liking, and soon my main course also came. It was to be grilled fish with laksa sauce i tink, but it was nothing like it, kind of disappointing as it was just boring belacan chilli on top. The portion of pasta n veg was also very little, i feel it's abit not worth the money spent on it.The dessert was good too, so i would eat it again nxt time when i come. continue reading
