It was teatime at our office and here are some of the cakes we ordered: Dafydd cake, Antoinette cake and Cookie cheese cake. I chose the Dafydd cake, which was a chocolate fudge goodness layered with hazelnut in between the mousse-textured cake. It is quite moist - good - and also decorated with chocolate pieces at the side. The chocolate is made of good quality dark chocolate instead of the weird-tasting sort - you know what I mean. It can get quite heaty after a while but it's not jelat at all. Just remember to bring water along with you or you can order water at the cafe as well. I have visited my aunty's home to celebrate her sixty years old birthday. Her husband was really thoughtful and sweet, which he had bought a really nice mango and lime cake from this posh bakery in Marriott hotel. Even though the cake looks quite simple, but the taste was really good! The thick mango coating was not too sweet and full of the natural fragrant of the mango slices topped on it. The cake sponge was really soft and light, which goes very well with the topped mango slices and the lime flavour mixed in it make it taste even better and refreshing as well. Even though I do not really know the price of this cake, but from its outlook and packaging, I suppose this could easier be sold more than $50 for a whole cake. …Read More
