the ingredients are very sparse. like war ration. a few bits of tapioca bits, a few bits of yam and sweet potato. a lot of watery coconut gravy. the coconut gravy is very fresh and fragrant, so the gravy is good. but with such a small amount of ingredients, it is extremely unsatisfying. cost about $3. could have made this better at home. service is gruff and unfriendly. continue reading

This stall sells desserts, mostly ice kacang type dessert and cheng teng. They have tau suan and bo bo char char as well, and some other shaved ice desserts. The bo bo char char is not up to my standard as it doesn't taste home made. There is no pandan leaves used, and the coconut milk tastes rancid and not fresh. The sweet potato and yam in the gravy is also very soft and mushy - exactly opposite of home made. There are tapioca jelly bits in there for chewiness. Not recommended. Not made with love.Best to stick with their cold desserts. Hard to go much wrong with the shaved ice, sugar syrup, colourings and canned fruit. The service is friendly and efficient and quick. This is the only other dessert stall in this food centre. The stall has a whole lot of Hello Kitty collectibles in the front display. Not sure if they are for sale as well or just for display. it's pretty interesting and cute.Recommended for ice desserts. continue reading
