They say drink a cup of fruit juice may help to retain healthy. I don’t know how precise the sentence was, but it seemed quite make sense. Different kinds of fruits contain different kinds of nutrition. This stall was running by two staffs when I was buying juices there, the stall appeared neat and clean while the price for each juice was stated clearly.Buying these two cups of juices, Orange mixed with Passion fruit, it was actually recommended by the staff. Not only full of Vitamin C, the juice but also help our digest system. continue reading

The Juice Bar is not the among the most popular stalls at this swanky, spacious branch of Food Republic food court on the 5/F of 313 Somerset Mall. Glancing at the display board indicated that the price of some of their drinks could buy a portion of noodles at the hawker centre. The avocado shake costs $3.50 comparable to premium drinks sold at popular bubble tea chain stores such as Koi and Gong Cha. It was a milky drink, not as thick and filling as other versions of avocado shake I've tried at hawker centres and smoothie shops. This stall stinged on the use of avocado puree which gives the shake its thick consistency. What the drink lacked in depth and body was saved by the fragrant gula melaka - brown sugar syrup. continue reading

Was going around to see what else to nibble after my meal and wanted this and that but found something colourful in the fridge at this juice kiosk, and it's the rainbow agar agar. For a moment everything in the fridge seemed attractive with the agar agar sitting in it. I bought one @$1.00, it's expensive but just want something light, but in the end did feel the agar agar was filling. The taste is nice and not very sweet which is good. continue reading
