Just Acia (Closed)

Didnt know what to eat at marina square so my friend suggested this place just acia. This place is quite big as it has indoor and outdoor seatings. As it was a saturday evening the place was really packed! We were lucky to be able to get a table without queueing but towards the later part of the evening there were people who had to queue.

if you are craving for ice cream after a meal, i think just acia is the place for you. the good thing about this place is that all the set meals come with free flow of drinks and ice cream. so normally i will go for something smaller for the main course like the chicken karage meal then feast on ice cream. they have the soft serve or tub of ice cream to scoop from. but i recommend to start ice cream early because some flavours may run out very quickly or mixed with other flavours at the end of t

Dory Fish rice with cheeseThe Dory Fish rice was very cheesy and creamy because beside cheese, they also has mayonaise on top of the dory fish. All i can say is Just Acia is a place for budget food. Their food quality isn't that bad afterall though but you can't say it's extremely nice as well. It's just typical food.The menu is not extensive but it is indeed price friendly. It has been quite a long time since i have go there.Therefore decided to go down to Dhoby Ghaut Just Acia. One thing that i adore much about Just Acia is their FREE FLOW of ice cream and drinks ! Even when you have order only a $5.90 meal, you could get to enjoy the goodies too ! I had ordered a dory fish set which cost only $6.90 ! The dory fish was tender and not fishy. I could say that it was really tasty and awesome ! ^^ Do give it a try if you have not try it !

Moreover, the food here is nice and cheap too.

All the meals come along with free flow of ice-cream, softserves ice-cream, cold and hot drinks. All the beverage selection was very good. The Tom Yam Chicken pasta was tasty, the tom yam sauce goes well with the chicken and mushroom. The Tom yam soup was spicy and I felt that lemongrass taste was not enough. The sambal salmon taste good, it actually taste like our normal hawker stingray sambal. The coffee ice cream and the rum and raisin ice cream was really delicious.

I've been there a couple of time and if I am around Dhoby Ghaut area i will definietly visit this restaurant as the set meal are pretty cheap. They have quite a few set of meal to chose f which price starts from $5.90+ onwards and comes with free flow of drinks (hot and cold drinks) and ice cream. The range of food offered are mainly asian dishes but there's quite a fair variety to choose from local delights to japanese. I ordered their curry chicken set meal which cost for $8.90 and wast tasty.

definitely 1 of the cheaper food that you can find in town... the food taste r just average but the good thing is free flow of drinks and ice cream... good place to just spend time with friends while indulging in lots of ice cream

My friends and I went to this restaurant to celebrate that our critics session just ended. I ordered 1 set creamy tom yam spaghetti @ S$8.9 included drinks and ice cream buffet (chocolate and vanilla). I’m a very food biased person. I normally avoid Korean food. However, I‘ve always wondered how good kimchi taste for the Koreans to eat so much and so often. Well, it is good. I think I like it because I generally like appetisers like this like achar. Well the kimchi is not very spicy and it is kinda sweet? The level of spiciness is just right. The cabbage they use is also very fresh and crunchy. It is great when eaten with the rice.

I don’t really like the salmon. The salmon is a little fishy. Although they gave me a slice of lemon, I didn’t use it because I don’t like lemons. Also, the salmon gets more difficult to swallow with eat bite. However the salmon is quite worth it because it has a very big portion. It also tastes better with the mayonnaise.The salmon fried set costs around $7.80. It comes with 2 pieces of salmon, miso soup, rice, kimchi, FREE flow of ice cream and drinks. This fried chicken dish comes with the deep-fried chicken ramen set. I love the chicken. It tastes great and the meat is very tender. The chicken tastes even better than KFC and I recommend dipping it in mayonnaise. There is no chicken meat stink in the dish. I highly recommend trying the chicken when you visit.The chicken is also very crispy. The crust of the chicken is not too thick nor is it too thin. The chicken has a very nice texture

I like the ramen at Just Acia. It is very nice. The ramen noodle is very q and not too hard not too soft. The ramen noodles are submerged in delicious soup. I think the soup is miso based. I love the soup which is something since I usually avoid miso soups. The soup does not have the overwhelming taste of miso. It is not too salty too. It has a refreshing taste. I've been there a couple of time set meal start from $5.90 <not much choice>with free flow of drink & ice cream so far only tried their tori katsu set & dory fish in ginger saucestori katsu set - taste so so,crispy,but sometimes katsu meat abit hard,sometime's i cant finish i will request for take away & they pack it nicely without charging any fee as for dory fish,fish was quite tender but too salty for me,i don't like itice cream very limited choice chocolate,peppermint,yam,durian& i f

Drinks! coffee, tea, cappucino, teh tarik, soft drinks, iced lemon tea, etc etc. lots of drinks and desserts (ice creams) to be chosen and refillable.The top most one is Spicy ramen which is really quite spicy! the ramen was nice, spongy and Q! The second one is Kimchi udon which is my favourite! The udon look nice and taste perfect in the spicy soup with strong kimchi flavour.The last one is spicy chicken set with rice too. The chicken was real spicy! but ncie taste and best to go with rice! =
