Had a really shiok dining experience at Kafe Utu! Some dishes a bit spicy, so take care if you’re sensitive, but overall very tasty lah. Lamb samosas with dip and burger with smoked ox tongue were my favourites. The “Kondre” came with fragrant coconut rice — very power. Utu Dome dessert also nice, a bit peppery but still steady. Really enjoyed almost everything we ordered! The mocha was spot on — rich with real chocolate and coffee, not the artificial syrupy kind. The ricotta hotcakes were a pleasant surprise, light and fluffy instead of the usual dense version. Loved the cauliflower and pulled pork breakfast too, so refreshing and different from standard café fare. Only letdown was the dessert with dragon fruit and nuts — a bit too sweet for my liking.
