Kazokutei for dinner!Impromptu trip. Peach/Strawberry Soda (SGD3.90, SGD2 with purchase of set meal)Zaru Udon and Soba mix + Chix (SGD11.90)QQ goodness!Apparently, their soba are handmade.Tofu Hamburger Combo Omurice (SGD10.90)Their omurice tastes better than Ma Maison, surprise surprise! But you'd get sick of the patty and sauce after a while. :/Huge portion though, very filling! continue reading

Was at causeway point walking around doing some shopping with my friend. We pass by this restaurant by the name of Kazokutei. We see the menu the food was quite tempting, prices were reasonable as well. And there were quite a lot of people inside the restaurant. So we decided to try the food. We looked through the menu and place the order for our food. The food came hot, and it was really delicious, just by looking, it sure tempts you a lot. continue reading

Ordered chicken chop at this restaurant which is located at causeway point. It looks like a small Japanese village found in the shopping mall. It is quite worthwhile to dine in there. The chicken chop is nice, not too salty and the portion is quite big too.But it is also quite oily .As i tear the skin,i can see the oil, recently im quite scare of oil, because i don want to have heart attack.By the way,we still had a nice dinner over there. Will go there again to try on other food. continue reading

Went there with friend after hanging around. After went through the menu, we ordered Hamburger Meal, Sramble Egg with Chicken and Soft Shell Crab. First bite, the chicken was a bit soggy, I think it maybe mix up with the gravy. I quite like the gravy which mix with the egg because its not really salty and goes well with the rice. The handmade udon was good. The soup was quite nice and love the texture of the udon which is smooth, quite firm and 'Q'. The hamburger was average. Its not really tender and a bit salty. The fries was normal. I like the tofu, it was very soft in texture and I think it had been marinated for a while. The soft shell crab was normal, not very interesting. continue reading

Anyone tried before Kazokutei that is newly open @ causeway point I tried it together with my 2 other friends for dinner and the food taste delicious The staff serve us to our seats once they saw us however we had to wait quite a long time for just 3 cups of ice water. Shira Udon ordered by one of my friend. The soup taste fresh because of the few slices of white carrot that enhance the soup taste. But i feel that is not worth the price because there's only a few slices of white carrot. Koku Udon + Salmon don. For people who wants to eat udon and salmon can ordered this. double satisfaction! Thumbs up for it Chicken Suki One person. This is a small hot pot with vegetables, mushrooms, etc... in the soup. It also come w raw egg which is needed to add into the soup, a bowl of udon and also come with 2 piece of chicken. The soup is nice just that it taste quite vegetable due to the different types of veggies added together w the soup. but overall is nice continue reading
