Housed on level 4 of Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore, Keyaki is surrounded by a beautifully sculpted Japanese garden and koi pound. This elegant venue provides an authentic setting for the exquisite cuisine.Emark on a culinary discovery of Hokkaido with three new eight-course kaiseki presentations at Keyaki, each crafted to highlight the rich and bountiful winter produce of Hokkaido. The menu is avaiable for lunch and dinner from Feb.6 to Mar.6, guests may select from the Hokkai ($190), Donnan ($180) or Hakodate($160).The word ‘shirako’ means “white children,” it is the cod milt and is the best produce in winter. The cod milt was slight grilled with a crispy outer layer, remain the inside creamy and smooth – just like the texture of tofu.Consists of toro (tuna), Botan Ebi and Hokkigai (surf clam)The scallops underneath were very fresh and tender, enhanced by the awesome homemade egg yolk sauce, and topped with fresh Ikura, the whole dish was really Umami.highly recommendlightly sprinkled it with salt and gently grilled to enhence the prime taste of the fish and infusing it with a smoky aroma while creating a deliciously crisply skin to contrast the delicate meat.An alternative choice besides the savory version of Kinki fish, the simmered Kinki fish with homemade sauce comes with a twist of sweetness.Salmon miso hot pot, a heartwarming delicacy traditionally served during the winter months in Hokkaido.Hotate(scallops), Ikura and UniSweet ending In addition to exquisite Japanese cuisine, we particularly enjoyed the elegant ambiance with scenic views of the garden, and high quality service which feel like in Japan. They also serves weekend Kaiseki brunch at a affordable price of $75++. Keyaki is definitely a great place to go if you love Japanese food but have no time to travel to Japan. continue reading

These meat rolls from Keyaki really make this Japanese restaurant proud! It is not only my favourite dish, and also is family and friends' favourite as well. The meat rolls are filled with generous amount of minced meat, carrot, asapagus, chestnuts, chopped garlic and minced prawn that make it tastes so sweet and juicy. Although it is served cold, you will still love that great taste from it and best serve with their cold noodles as well. And also based with lots of sweet japanese sauce,it has really enhance this meat rolls taste and will be will like for all ages. continue reading

Eventhough this restaurant is quite popular for their fine dining experience for their Japanese dishes, but I personally prefer their desserts over to their main dishes here. My favourite will be their black sesame ice cream with different types of side toppings. The ice cream is filled with lots of black sesame flavour and the texture is really thick and creamy. Love their side toppings which includes diced mangoes, preserved coconut, sliced oranges and thick plum sauce. All these toppings if you separately eat with the ice cream, you will feel their individual unique tastes on them. continue reading
