Went to dine with my friends as they gotten a scratch-to-win card from giant and the promo was buddy meal $8.50. inclusive of 2 whip potatos, 4 pieces of chicken and 2 cup of drinks green tea. we changed the drinks to other drinks, and one of the whip potatos to normal small fries. the manager serving us is quite nice and friendly. the queue is not very long thus serving is fast. the chicken is also hot and crispy but is too oily under the skin. overall, finger licking good.Read More

The Double Down Burger is one of the newest creation by KFC. The concept of having 2 pieces of meat patties to replace buns seemed a little crazy but definitely interesting. I have never been a fan and have not been to KFC for a while but this crazy burger prompted me to give it a go.When i was at Hougang Mall on a particular evening, i decided i should try it. A set with the burger, the drink and mashed potato is priced at $6.90. The chicken patties were quite a disappointment. It tasted soggy and quite oily. The turkey bacon sandwiched between the 2 patties did not taste quiet like a piece of bacon but towards the taste of ham. The cheese did not melt nicely and it ended up to be a little overwhelmed. The entire experience was a challenging one. The conclusion has to be the Double Down Burger is definitely not for me. Read More

For the Chinese New Year period, KFC introduced a new type of portuguese egg tarts. It is topped with bits of the mandarin oranges. I like this new creation as the slight sweetness and sourness from the mandarin orange bits help to balance out the flavours from the egg custard. It is more appetising and you just cannot stop after you take the first bite. Very refreshing with some fruity taste. Thumbs up for it.Read More
