KFC recently launched a new menu with Korean inspired chicken and burger. Being a fan of korean food and KFC's fried chicken, i immediately jumped at the opportunity to try their new menu items.My sisters and I ordered the spicy korean burger set and the spicy korean chicken set. I was at Jurong Point and saw the youth was eating the latest Asam Pedas Zinger. Armed with curiosity and wondered how the taste, I decided to order a pack of Asamp Pedas Zinger. The box of Zinger did not change its packaging except tha tthe words "Asam Pedas Zinger" is printed. It was a chicken but spread with Asam Pedas. The chilly is not spciy hot and yet had to add chilli sauce to feel the kicking feeling. It is not a big burger too. The vegetable is sufficient to cover the burger. The recent promotion that KFC had offered, a free cheese fries that comes with every buddy meal! Opted for 2 pieces of original and 2 pieces of crispy Kentucky Fried Chicken, including 1 wing and 1 drumstick for our meal. Served with 2 cups of refreshing Mango Peach Sorja drinks, 2 regular whipped potato and 2 coleslaw and of course the free cheese fries.Jurong Point's KFC is ever crowded and full house. Moreover, this is the Ramadan period and with its promotion it is quite hard to find a seat especially at night. It took us about 10 minutes of waiting time for seats and 20 minutes of queuing time for food.The Crispy Chicken is usually the scalding hot food on the table as it is more popular than the original chicken and we got to enjoy these fresh pieces of hot chicks which were just taken out of the deep fried fryer. . Italian crunch is a new promotional offer as a marketing effort by KFC, and it has even change the beverage of the drink to a healthier choice of Mango-Peach juice! Nothing beats good old KFC when you are craving for fried chicken. The chicken here is super tasty and retains its crunch even when taken away to consume at home. The original recipe chicken is really moist on the inside and juicy while the exterior is crisp and crunchy with tons of their secret spice flavour on it. I headed to KFC for lunch and as the weather was a little cold and i was having slight flu, i decided to order a cup of hot tea. Try the new kfc burger which was named as ZINGER DOUBLE DOWN MEAL! OMG, the calories was sure high! All fried food: fried chicken, fried hash brown cheese and bacon! It was super oily and i seriously do not recommend people to eat this, it is definitely harmful to health with the given combination! i ate half and i really can't stand it anymore so i throw the other half away! i know is a waste of money and food, but i just can't help it and with additional marshed potatoes and soft drink that come together! Ordered KFC Zinger Rice with unique sauce. The sauce is too spicy to my liking. Should have choosen the mushroom sauce instead. The chicken was served warm with rice. The zinger chicken is spicy too and hence did not dipped too much into the unique sauce given. No chilli sauce was added. It is actually a great menu item for KFC to introduce rice set to customers. I have wanted to try this because unlike usual grilled or fried burgers that we see in most fast food restaurants, this burger is claimed to be roasted. So off I went to try this 'new' burger!The chicken fillet sandwiched between the oat-bran bread was juicy and tender, with pieces of lettuce to supplement its flavour. As we had just finished our shopping at Jurong Point, the kids said they were hungry and I was hungry too, so we decided to hop in at KFC for some snackers, as that was what the kids wanted. I think that cheese fries is actually the most popular food in KFC because almost everyone can't leave the shop without cheese fries! Well, it is actually quite expensive as it need $3.40 to buy just the cheese fries and $1.70 if we want to change a food from our order to cheese fries. This snacker which is a combination of popcorn chicken and french fries is delicious. The popcorn chicken itself was not oily and does not have much fats. It goes well with the chilli sauce. The chicken is also seasoned to the right taste, not being too salty. The french fries are not too oily too. They does not contain too much salt, which makes them taste healthier.
