This is the Indian restaurant to eat at! Its at Little India, the happening place. Well this restaurant is always busy, but once you get a table (outside), you just have to sit back and enjoy the food and the music. You are served authentic Indian food, with a very good service level. The Chicken tikka is great, so are the currys and the naans! The prices are on the high side, but I guess it is worth, compared to restaurants in Little India! Go for it!Six of us got a table outdoors, which was nice and breezy. We enjoyed -Pappadums - were crispy but a tad salty. Still enjoyable because of the whole black perrercorns.Non Veg Tandoori Platter which had an assortment of different flavours of chicken Tikka, Chicken Kebab, Mutton Kebab, Fish Tikka and Tandoori Prawns for $35. Value for money!Chicken Biryani is so fragrant and fluffy I took a few servings! And it was all gone before I could go for the second round. Absolutely delicious.Cheese Naan, Garlic Naan, Rumali Roti, Butter Chicken, Bhindi Masala all excellent – as usual but I must compliment Palak Paner (cottage cheese cubes in spinach) which was warm and melted in my mouth, yummy!! And I was informed by the staff that the cottage cheese is daily imported by air from New Delhi.I must compliment Khansama on the impeccable service. Very attentive and accommodating. You might want to sit indoors at the second level if u prefer air conditioned dining. With a bottle of wine, bill came up to $25 each, which I felt was reasonable. We were all absolutely stuffed and happy!  continue reading

My daughter's birthday was on 13 December, so despite the wide choices available for fine dining, we decided on Khansama Tandoori Restaurant after a close friend suggestion. We do not regret our choice one bit. We have eaten at the "highly acclaimed" north indian restaurants at MBS and RWS and along the Fullerton area, but Khansama takes the cake. Food quality was excellent, even a mere tomato had natural flavors that many other places lack.Chicken tikka masala was fabulous. We tried their Tandoori Chicken and since i myself am a very good cook ( at home - ha ha ha ) and its diffcult for me to praise somebody elses cooking - but i should be fair to the chef. it was the most delicious tandoori chicken i ever hadI also recommend this place for:After Work, Ala Carte, Alfresco/Outdoor Dining, BBQ, Delivery, Dinner, Relaxed, Take Away, Vibrant/Noisy, Wine Lists continue reading

What a cute Menu with a chef's image.I drank almost 2 cups. This 'Chicken Kebab Masala' is delicious. It is totally different with Malaysia's.Do you ever try out the North Indian Food?? Well, This is my first time. The food served is similiar with 'Indian Mamak Stall' at roadside. Be frank, I don't have too much expectation when I stepped in the restaurant. The scent of spices inside the restaurant was too heavy to breath. The restaurant was quite dark and full of mysterious decorations. That's why I have no chance to take more photo of it. I went there with my boyfriend. We ordered 'Tandoori Non-Veg Starters', 'Chicken Dishes', Cheese Naan, Biryani Rice and Tea Tarik. I am full and satisfied after this meal. I will definitely go back again for the other dishes. Good Try!! continue reading

This place is one of my favorite north Indian restaurants! The food really tantalizes one's tastebuds. It is always cooked on the spot and served warmed. Though the waiting time takes about 10-15minutes, its well worth the wait!! We ordered the biryani rice - which was oh-so fragrant and bursting with flavor. The rice used is basmathi which is said to be lower in calories! We also ordered the potato curry which is absolutely amazing. The potatoes were really tender and went great with the spicy curry. We also ordered a paneer side which is basically indian cheese. The cheese was soft and complimented the spicy gravy which was coconut milk based. I also loved the potato cutlets that were served with green peas! We also ordered two butter naan's which were a tad oily but very soft and fluffy! continue reading
