Introduction
KOI Cafe was established in 2006 and came to Singapore in 2007. The first outlet in Singapore was in Toa Payoh. Most of the ingredients used in the making of the drinks are imported from Taiwan, in a bid to bring the authentic taste of Taiwanese milk tea to locals. continue reading

I love my 25% sugar milk tea with pearls! Less sugar for less calories so I get to drink this drink more often! And run less in the gym I guess? Or I hope? Now you can pay for koi drinks with a koi card that you reload with money like an ezlink card. For every $80 you top up you get $5 back. Plus there's still perx points you can collect for every cup of koi you buy! Do note that at this koi branch, business is exceptionally good so do be patient. That bench there is meant for you to sit and wait for your drink, though I think that bench needs to be bigger as I normally see at least 10 people or more waiting for their drinks. continue reading

This is my absolute favourite drink from KOI. The passion fruit aiyu drink. I love the refreshing taste of the slightly sour passionfruit and the smooth aiyu jelly in the drink. It is really delicious. It costs about $3 for a medium cup. Their pearls are soft and smooth and chewy as well. Really good! continue reading

Yes! i am a big fan of bubble tea. There are more and more such outlets setting up but i am still a faithful support of KOI's. They have made an effort to maintain its standard to hold its customers base. I have tried their bubble tea a countless times but have yet to be disappointed. My usual favourite has always been the large green tea with pearls. I always go for the 100% sweetness level. It might be sweeter than normal but the sweetness is not overwhelmed. The texture of their peals has a distinct chewiness that i enjoyed very much. continue reading

This time I tried the chocolate milk tea, recommended to me by my friend ;D Luckily there isn’t really a queue so we don’t have to wait long for our orders, got it in about 5 minutes.(: Before commenting on the taste, the service by one of the girl there isn’t really good as she was somewhat rude to some of us. the taste is not bad, the chocolate taste is rich in flavour, the pearl is chewy, and it was really a great drink at the hot afternoon. continue reading
