Introduction
KOI Cafe was established in 2006 and came to Singapore in 2007. The first outlet in Singapore was in Toa Payoh. Most of the ingredients used in the making of the drinks are imported from Taiwan, in a bid to bring the authentic taste of Taiwanese milk tea to locals.

My girlfriend super in love with Koi's Mini Yam Milk Tea, so she ordered 1 cup of Medium size with free upgrade to Large size upon showing the gift message in PERX to the counter staff last night. After having my first sip, it was not only the smoothness of the milk tea, but the chewiness of the mini bubbles. Since it was so nice, I decided to let her drink more than me because I always give my best that I have to my love one.Tips: Remember to download the perx app - Mobile Loyalty Cards and get a chop for every $4 spent at any KOI Cafe in order to gain freebies after a few visits!

Tried out one of KOI's new creations:Mango Macchiato - $3.20I like the strong flavour of Mango, and it's quite a refreshing drink to quench your thirst! However, when the cream starts to mix with the mango, it taste very sweet, even though I have already reduced the sugar level to 50%. The mixture taste not as nice as the black tea macchiato though. MY favourite is till black tea macchiato.Another thing that I like about the KOI outlet is that they provide chairs for customers to sit down and charge their phone. They provide plugs and even charger for iphone users! how awesome is that! A good waiting place to sit and play with your phone without the worry of draining your battery away. It's also a good place for friends to sit down and chit chat after dinner..

It has been a while since i had drink from koi, and the reason is that, there are so many other brands that are popping all over the island! Koi is relatively harder to find. Anyway, i had the green tea macchiato, which now cost $2.40, a hike of 50cents from previously! But well, it is well established with loyal customers base. The milk foam on the top make up almost half of the whole cup. While i do like the milk foam, they are very inconsistent with the serving. This time round, i ended up having a super sweet milk tea. :/

Finally came to the new KOI Cafe in Plaza Sing and was shocked to see seats inside the shop for us to sit and chill! Ordered the Ice Latte which tasted not bad, but the size is quite small though for $3.50 worth of price. The ambience is good and there are plugs available for you to charge your phone or use your laptops. Music was quite noisy though considering the crowd that were there.
