One of the popular Seafood served as dish when having meal in Korean. At Singapore, you may easily find a stall or restaurant which selling this kind of Fish. The Saba was obviously fresh, seasoned well and totally without smelly taste. Teriyaki sauce on top, it was merely savory and delicious, so as to the side dish in small plate. Besides, it was not oily. Grilled instead of Fried, the fish served was healthier. Soup wise, it was refreshing too. Finish up the whole fish, soup and the rice, I was very full and satisfied. continue reading

I like this korean mixed rice.It is quite cheap. But theres lot of ingredients inside. And it can make me full. The sauce mztch well with the rice, egg, cucumber, carrot, chicken, bean sprout.Although the sauce they used taste abit weird,i still like it.Add some kimchii and the chilli powder make it taste nicer. The kimchii is really nice. And the staff there is also very friendly. continue reading

i seem to only order this set from this stall every time. i guess i tried the other things on their menu and they weren't very good. this is the staple, the basic. once i tried the beef version and the beef was off and made me want to vomit. best to stick with the tofu version. there's glass noodles in there, cabbage, kimchi, lots of red hot chillies, some tofu. comes with rice and more kim chi and some chilli kian bilis. some days the food is not very fresh but most days it's alright. it's about $5.50 for this set. i like kim chi so it's alright for me, but it's not fantastic. continue reading

Whenever I eat at a Korean stall in a foodcourt, I will always go for the Saba fish and eventhough may seemed fishy to some but I never had problem with fish. The fish at this stall was well fried and no fishy smell and in a resonably good size and the kimchi was just as good and not very spicy. We ordered too many things until I can't really remember the prices on this. continue reading

Bap means rice. So bibimbap simply means mixed rice. As i've said that i really love bibimbap. I will try it whenever i go to a new korean food place. The bibimbap here only comes in metal bowl. No stonebowl but its just as delicious. Served with a raw egg on top but somehow it mixes so well with the rice. I wonder if its cooked or raw already because of the sauce, everything is red after mixing. Do try it! The price is rather reasonable too! continue reading
