I decided to settle for dinner at Plaza Singapura's Kopitiam food court. I quite like the Kopitiam as it is very spacious with lots of seats and you will not have to stand around for long waiting for an empty seats. The food there is not bad too and I decided to order the Korean food located near to the main entrance. I had the Beef Bibimbap which comes with their usual sides of kimchi and spicy ikan bilis and a bowl of soup (which tasted like MSG). The portion of the bibimbap is small but tasted alright. The beef however is a little overcooked and quite tough to chew. Overall it's enough to satisfy my hunger but not my palate. Read More

Was at Plaza Singapura and decided to have lunch at level 5 Kopitiam. I decided to try the Korean Food Stall! Very yummy Korean Spicy Pork with Saba Fish Set. The saba fish is nice and the spicy pork is well marinated too. I ate it with their chilli sauce, it is simply delicious! The kimchi they served is great too. I find this set reasonably priced. I am missing it already. I will go for it again! Read More

I bought this dish during my lunch time. This food stall is quite big and clean. Staffs are quite friendly as well. The kim chi soup was not really that spicy, but is quite tasty. The thinly sliced beef meats inside are quite tender and juicy. Lots of sliced cabbages, carrots and parsley can be found in this dish, which make it really nutritional and healthy for everyone. There are also Korean rice noodles inside as well, that are really chewy and goes quite well with the kim chi soup. At $5.50 per bowl, it is quite affordable. Read More

Choose to try this korean cuisine stall as their bibimbap is serve in hot stone bowl. This is a balance healthy dish because there are different kind of vegetable like bean sprout, carrot, black fungus and spinach to eat with. The red chilli n bean paste is not spicy which suits my taste.I mixed the kimchi and seaweed into the bibimbap and it is perfect as the sourness from the kimchi make it more appetizing. The best part of using a hot stone bowl is that i can eat the thin crust of scorched rice at the bottom which is fragrant.Read More

Craving for pork and so I settled down at this korean store and ordered this spicy pork . Generous amount I shall say compared to all the other stores I have been and the slices are quite thick as well (not like the other shredded ones). The thick slice allow me to savor the pork with all my hearts content. One thing, it is not spicy enough. The kimchi which is also one of my favorite side, is not marinated well enough. It would be really good if the cabbage can be left to marinate for a longer period of time for it to absorb the taste :).--SGD approx 10Read More

don't know how i heard of this unpopular korean stall in the food court, in fact the area has been infested with MANY korean stalls (one at the basement, one at wiki edge and the other at concord hotel). decided to try out which is the best korean food to go for, and i guess i'd rate this stall at the 3rd place out of the 3!spammed with onions (my favourite dish), one would not really think about the aftermath of burping and farting away smelly gases like a cow. i wonder if i contributed a lot to the greenhouse gases! well, there were little meat and it tasted not so nice.soup.. erm, vegetables in soup, quite a strange combination but the tomatoes made a difference! i just drank the soup base because i don't really like wet soggy vegetables.Read More

Whenever I'm dining at Kopitiam, most of the time I'd order the Chicken Set at this Korean Cuisine store. It is soft and has a very strong taste. It does not have the fish smell that I can't stand. Also, the chicken is topped off with sweet soy sauce which will sizzle in the hot plate. Additionally, there are small pieces of tender chicken that were marinated in kind of orange sauce. The chicken is extremely great. This set is just the best and do give it a try if you're at Kopitiam. It'll be a good idea to share the set with someone. Read More

I love korean food, especially the oily saba fish and kimchi! This set meal was made up of half a saba fish, rice and side dishes including kimchi! and anchovies. The saba fish was indeed oily, as usual because it really has a lot of oil on its own, but it really made the dish very juicy and tasty! YUM. The kimchi was fresh and it was a delicious side dish to eat together with the fish. The rice was in a small metal bowl and the portion was quite small, considering the number of dishes there was in the set. All in all, I had a satisfying Korean meal! Read More
