They have teppanyaki section, you can choose what meat you want and they will deliver it to your table when cooked. I like the salmon steak and beef slices. The salmon is fresh and is not overcooked, tender and juicy. The beef is marinated and is so yummy after grilled..

Suntec is a spacious but quiet mall now. maybe because how it has become more dead these days after closure of Carrefour. I had a craving for crabs and japanese, so answer was Kuishin Bo! The staff was helpful and attentive. And once stepped my ultimate one goal was the freeflow fresh snow crab! as you can see in the photos, my hands were really busy that I almost forgot to take photos. It’s really good.

My family went to Kuishin Bo to try it out a while ago. It served a wide variety of sushi, tempura, and Japanese appetizers. It also served sukiyaki, which we didn't really like. Like a lot of other people, I enjoyed the free flow salmon sashimi! Nothing beats the satisfying of the craving for salmon sashimi. The fried items were not bad too. I find the price slightly pricey, since with all buffets the recent credit card promotions has to offer, there are better buffets to go to.

It was not crowded on a Friday workday, probably due to renovations going on in Suntec City.

The variety and spread of Kushinbo was the same as usual. My impression of Kushinbo had always been one of quality and quantity.

Being a small eater, I picked only a few items to eat. I appreciate most of the dishes, my favourite being the fried salmon fishhead. It was tasty and fleshy.

The ginseng porridge was also very fragrant. They had ikan bilis, peanuts, pork floss etc. to go along with. I had 2 helpings.

I was the most excited about dessert as there was a really big section dedicated to desserts. The unqiue dessert tray added to my excitment. However, do not judge a book by its cover. Most of the desserts did not taste half as good as they look, the most disappointing being the mochi, which is one of my favourite Japanese snack. The lime souffle, raspberry chocolate cake and roche chocolate were the only desserts that I finished.

Overall, the ambience, service and food were fine, except the desserts. It did not leave me with the craving to come back for more. There is a 10% discount for senior citizens and about a 30% savings if you take the 1 hour package but we did not, as 1 hour really wasn't enough for us.

Have been looking for a good japanese buffet that serves fresh seafood and sashimi for angmokia since he loves it. I don't fancy raw stuff so at least a buffet will ensure variety. Saw many reviews of other places serving good sashimi but chose Kuishin-bo because i haven been here since 10 years ago! I had really fond memories of this place for its very fresh seafood. Its really quality food... As you can see from my picture, there are just too many to name.. I will just write the recommended dishes That i tried:

1: Chawanmushi-- basic but very smooth and pure
2: chicken kaminabe-- sweet and tasty soup with fresh ingredients
3: fried soft-shell crab!-- enuff said
4: the long legged snow crab-- My friend basically sat there the whole night eating this! very worth your money, fresh and meat was sweet!
5: sashimi-- for the raw food lovers, salmon, tuna...
6: cheesy lobster: this was the highlight of the night!! flesh of lobster was chewy and succulent and the cheese gratin on it was sooooo sinful but yummy! (You can get this with reservations!)
7. teppanyaki-- beef steak was one of the best he had eaten(so claims angmokia)

Desserts galore-- fruits, chocolate fountain fondue, chocolate truffles, matcha ice cream, mochi, cakes...

My take is to save your stomach for the proper food... before u start on desserts to get your worth of money!

Popped by Kuishin Bo to get our Japanese dinner buffet fix! Judging by the long queues outside the restaurant, people still can’t enough of Kuishin Bo and their glorious food spread. It is also best to reserve beforehand, so you can be directed to your seat once you arrive and start chomping down on the food provided. There is a whole range of Japanese food to choose from: sushi, sashimi, seafood, tempura, teppanyaki, noodles and desserts!

The sushi/sashimi counter is probably the busiest counter, where people snatch up prized slices of salmon, tuna and grab the different variations of sushi available. The sashimi are replenished frequently and are quite fresh. The sushi selection includes standard rolls with various fish, unagi, egg and are quite decent.

Perhaps the highlight of the buffet is the abundance of Hokkaido snow crab legs available for consumption. The freshes, juiciest and meatiest parts of crab legs and claws are stacked in rows, and many diners just cannot get enough of them. Kuishin Bo provides the necessary utensils (scissors, crab crackers) for diners to deshell the crab; each table gets a set but you can request for more. I helped myself to multiple servings of Hokkaido snow crab, savouring the fresh, succulent crab meat. Cholesterol levels be damned, for just one night.

There is a variety of hot cooked food to choose from, we sampled the teppanyaki items which were not bad at all. You place your order for barbecued meat, vegetables at the teppanyaki counter and it will be served to your table. Besides the usual hot cooked food (rice, meat, vegetables), they also serve Japanese style dishes like udon and hotpot. You can choose between seafood, beef, mushroom ingredients for your hotpot but do not expect too much, the soup was decent but there wasn’t much ingredients in the actual hotpot.

And for desserts, there is also a large variety of cakes, cream puffs to choose from. There is coffee machine where you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea to go with the delectable desserts. Don’t forget about the chocolate fondue too! The place can get quite messy with chocolate stains all over the counter, so be careful.

Every kuishin bo experience is not complete without the sounding of their signature jingle song: “Dong Dong Dong, Kuishin Bo”. That signals the arrival of a special limited food item and like Pavlov dogs to ringing bells, people stop what they’re doing/eating, get out of their seats and rush to the main buffet counter where they are giving out their special food item. The first time the bell rang during our stay, we got a small frozen fresh strawberry. The second time, we got this puff cake which was filled with bean filling which wasn’t too appetizing. We heard the special items can get exotic sometimes, but so far for our visit, we weren’t impressed. But I guess the element of mystery and surprise definitely works up people’s appetite!

Also there is this ongoing lobster promotion: if you reserve beforehand for dinner at this outlet, each diner will be entitled to an additional free serving of lobster. We were treated to a lobster dish drench in dark teriyaki sauce. The lobster decently fresh; we had no trouble prying the lobster meat from its shell, and the fragrant teriyaki flavor actually went well with the thick succulent lobster meat.

I would visit kuishin bo for their free flow fresh seafood, the other items are quite average, but if you are itching to try a variety of food and are not afraid of piling up the calories, this place is for you!

Kuishin-Bo is one of the japanese restaurant that serves japanese buffet and their buffet is great! I had enjoyed very much because they serves fresh salmon sashimi. I keep on getting the salmon only, while my friends explore the other foods like the ramen, teriyaki skewers, sushis and so on. we had great time there and we were very satisfied with the choices and the service of the staff.

It has a great selection, including the snow crab legs and fresh sashimi. The teapot soup is also great. There are many variety from raw food to nabei to tempura. It also has a wide selection of dessert but not that fantastic. The lunch however, without the crab legs, just does not seems as value for money. The main attraction really is the crab legs. However, one can only eat so many crab legs, advise not to go more than once a month. =)

Went for their 1 hour buffet since it was relatively cheaper than their usual 3 hour buffet pricing. Love their chawanmushi, it is really nice. I also tried the paper boat thing whereby they have beef/chicken/seaweed. I ordered one beef and one chicken for my friend who can't eat beef. The woman serving at the counter was really nice and polite as well. Didnt really take any seafood cause i don't like to eat seafood. But i see people with like a plate full of prawns and more prawns! Their ginseng scallop porridge is also not bad! First time trying a ginseng porridge. Love their fried rice too. Only took one slice of salmon as i just wanted to try it.

I did not have much time to try finish all their food and so i kind of regretted taking the 1 hour buffet as i had to rush and finish up all my food. I only had like 5 mins to taste the desserts!

Visited this restaurant for the first time after I heard many people give good comments about it including my girlfriend.

They offer cold seafood options - fresh sashimi, sushis, mussels, large shrimps and snow crab legs! I believe that these are the must have items to eat for dinner! Another thing special about this restaurant is free flow drinks and green tea & vanila ice-cream. They also offer 20 types of quality tea bag (Brand: Pickwick) as follows where you get from coffee house, the regular sodas and coffee: -

Clarity: Peppermint
Recharge: English Breakfast
Restore: Green Tea & Jasmine
Uplift: Earl Grey

Once you heard the song, bong bong bong~~~~, you got to rush to the food area to get exclusive food because it is part of their hourly deal. Sometimes they give out lobsters, other times they give out desserts. You really got to act fast as you know that they are giving to the first 20 - 30 customers only. People literally run, push and queue for this thing. Absolutely classless:

1) Danger with people running around the restaurant.

2) Since everyone pays the same price, why must we fight for exclusive food?

Some cooked foods like noodles, curry, stewed vegetables, all which I tried a little of as they didn't look so appertising and tasted the way they look.

They had a table of fried foods. The tempura was nice. Thats all I really liked.

The dessert spread was wonderful! I loved the tarts, chocolates fondue and cakes because they are very nice.

Staffs are not fast and inefficient in doing their jobs due to following reasons:

a) The unsmiling cashier
b) One of the table started noticing a small black rat falling down from the ceiling and shouted loudly, then the service crew just slowly took it away to kitchen.
c) Finally, the floor manager asked everyone in that section to choose other seat. Since it is an open-concept wooden dining area for the whole restaurant, there is a lack of protection, I decided to remain the original seating arrangement with my girlfriend.

Kuishin Bo is a great place for large group dining and it is the best place for affordable Favourite Japanese Buffet food lovers.
