So here's what I tried! The Royal Rumble... Basically it's two croissants filled with egg mayo, bacon bits and spring onion sprinkled atop. Don't you agree that it looks delightfully appetizing?!

The croissants were light and fluffy with a whiff of buttery aroma in every bite. The egg mayo was creamy and flavourful. It fulfills my breakfast cravings perfectly. Even the grilled cherry tomatoes and sauteed mushrooms were awesome.

What more can I ask for?!

Don’t you agree that nothing makes your day more than a good breakfast? You don’t have to for there are many restaurants in Singapore which offer breakfast meals, and one of these is Kung Fu Paradise. From now until 30 April 2013, this café has the “All-Day Breakfast Bonanza” promotion which features a range of items to satisfy a grumbling tummy. Are you a late sleeper? Worry not for these items are available all throughout the day so you can wake up any time you want and still get the chance to enjoy them.

The Food
For all those who have not eaten at KungFu paradise before, it is actually a casual Hong Kong style cafe offering an extensive menu of over 100 Chinese dishes and Asian-influenced western fare.
I ordered the Seafood Chili Crab Pasta- pasta served with seafood and freshly made chilli crab sauce and Dry noodles with chicken chop.
I like the seafood chilli crab pasta the most as the prawns are veri fresh and the chili crab sauce flavourful with crabs aroma
As for the dry noodles with chicken chop, to me is maggi mee with few pieces of chicken chop hence nothing to boast about.

The Service
As I went on Saturday evening, the restaurant was quite crowded but was immediately ushered to our table promptly once the seats are available. The waiter & waitresses were friendly and approachable too.
One bad point about the service is the waiting time for the food is too long for me as I waited for 30 mins before the food are served to my table.

The Ambience
I like the cosy ambience and surroundings with comfy chairs with acceptable noise level

The Price
Reasonably priced at $9.90 for Seafood Chili Crab Pasta & $7.90 for the dry noodles with chicken chop.

Overall
I will definitely come back again to try other dishes and highly recommended to try this!

The sauce for the noodles is a little weird and the sausage isn’t very nice too :/

However, I like the texture of the noodles. And the waiting time for food to be served is quite fast.(:

When we asked for the bill, it took them quite a long time to get the bill to us, and they simply left it on the table and left.

There was quite a crowd so we could understand it. However when we handed the card to them for payment, it took them an even longer time before the bill is returned to us.

We got really impatient for the long waiting time.

They had a real shortage of staff and most of them are inexperienced.

Lucky for a guy staff who is more experienced, he settled the bill for us and even apologized to us.(:

But be prepared for poor service speed/quality for dining there during peak hours.

As I was passing by Kungfu Paradise, I was reminded by my friend's recommendation that the dimusum in Kungfu Paradise is very delicious. I decided to give it a try and also to quell my days of cravings for custard buns - liu sha bao or nai huang bao - whichever you are more familiar with. However, as I was in a hurry, I bought a takeaway rather than stayed in the shop to eat. I bought it home and heat it up, and it tasted really delicious! The custard filling is very soft and flowy. I bought it home and heat it up, and it tasted really delicious! The custard filling is very soft and flowy. The skin of the bun is the thick type. It's really satisfying to eat them. The size is a bit small for my liking, but three is just the right portion for supper. I'll definitely buy them again if I go past Kungfu Paradise.

They adopt the hongkong cafe style so you can see dimsum like liu sha bao (egg yolk custard bao). I don't really find their mains any special such that it's recommended to go. Their food range from dim sum, noodles, spaghetti, fried food and snacks. So if they can have so many things under a menu, i dont see any specialization in any of the cuisine.

KungFu Fresh Toast $3.90
There was a thick layer of peanut butter in between the toast. Overall, this was quite okay but $3.90 isn't very worth.

Ordered Liu Sha Pao too but I forgot to take a photo of it haha! I think swee choon's one is better though! After all they are not specialized in dimsum.

The service received was alright because they are pretty much plenty of waiters and waitress around. However, the restaurant is filled with many people in the evening so you might need to wait for a while for people to come to you.

Overall, I don't really recommend coming here because there really isn't anything special about this place, nor their food. I would rather spend my money elsewhere or a better hongkong cafe for a few dollars extra!

Kungfu Stylo Coffee - Thought was just a special kind of coffee served in a normal coffee cup. It came as a surprise as it was served in a nice glass with a thick froth topped with cocoa bits. The coffee which is a blend of Arabica & Robusta was really aromatic and smooth. As per their menu,"Kungfu Stylo Coffee - our Signature stylo coffee is simply heavenly". Simply Great at $2.20 per order.

Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice Bowl with Lava Egg - Steamed Rice topped with Leafy Greens, Sweet & Sour Chicken and half a seasoned Lava Egg. The chicken is tender and the sweet & sour sauce is just right with lots of onion slices and green peppers. The egg yolk of the Lava Egg was soft and oozing out from the egg. A wonder as to how the egg was cooked as the egg white is hard boiled and seasoned and yet the egg yolk is so soft & nice. Price :$7.90

Mushroom "Babe" Rice. Few choices of sauces available and I chose Curry as the sauce for the rice. The rice was generously topped with chinese & button mushroom slices, cheese and curry gravy. The cheese was very "chewy" in the sense that the strands of cheese was long and has a chewy kind of feel. Eating it pipping hot is really slurpy delicious! The toppings was so generous that every scoop of rice was soaked in curry, cheese and mushrooms. Simply wonderful! Price : $8.90

Chicken Siew Mai served in a semi plastic & bamboo basket. Nowadays at most places, although the siew mai is tasty, the tradition taste & aroma of the steamed siew mai is missing. The siew mai here has a little of the traditional taste & aroma. 3pcs for $3.90

Custard egg yolk bun
The bun is hotly served and piping hot when we touched it. The bun itself is quite soft and the size is cute and small. The custard egg yolk inside is liquid and it flows out if not carefully eaten. The taste is not bad, the salted egg yolk smell is very fragrant and delicious. But I will say that 3 small pieces for $3.90 is a bit too expensive.
