Went shopping with Mum and I needed a break so I brought us to Aji Tei for desserts. The display of plastic dishes and yummy looking photos of their menu lured me in fast and furious. As we weren't that hungry, we just ordered a dessert sampler, fried tofu and chicken skewer. The dessert came first, it looked different from the photo. There were a little too much starch (muah chee) in the 3 samplers. The green tea ice-cream on cornflakes saved this sampler. It was our first time having cornflakes with ice-cream. And we love the blend of the two. The felt tofu felt very crispy when it was served. I could hear the crunch of the exterior when I moved it with the chopsticks. But the excitement of this dish faded the moment I tasted it. The tofu was tasteless and the sauce that came with it didn't quite help. And then the chicken came. Didn't get to taste the original taste as my mum sprinkled chilli powder over it. The chicken (with chili powder) was pretty alright. Not fantastic but better than the fried tofu. Overall, the good was average. continue reading

Went to bugis with my friends to buy our clothings ....!!! we walked for many hours and soon it was dinner time....so we head towards food junction but decided that since it was our last few days of holiday ...we shall have a nice meal my friend recommend us this Aijitei restaurant as she said there are many hokkaido desserts there....and it is quite nice..... when we arrived , we stood there and browse through the menu, the staff there was very helpful and patient as she waited for us to make decision whether to dine there or not. When we made our decision , she brought us in to have a seat and asked us what would we like to have. i am surprised by the services that she provides as she is about 40 ....which is a big differences in her services compare to those aunties who worked at Mac... i felt that the variety of main course they have are mostly related to fried food ...thus left me a few choices on main courses. Althought, i had ordered the grilled rice, it is still very oily as you can see one thick layer of oil flow on top of the hotplate.... Last but not least , i will visit the restaurant again for its desserts and services but not the main dishes continue reading

Everything here was not bad, but not very impressive. I love their ice-cream & mochi though, I don't mind sitting down just for a dessert ;) My fren quite like the udon, my salmon sashimi was just alright. Service was ok, the place was cozy.Overall everything was quite average~ good enough for a normal dinner, but not good enough cos we're here to celebrate a fren's BD! continue reading

Lunch at this Japanese Restaurant at Plaza Singapura.I remember we always frequent this restaurant when it was newly open.Their service then was GOOD! But now... BOO!They are not attentive at all!No refill of ice water, just act blur and walk pass me!Though their service has deteriorate.. but we still love the omelette side dish!Have no idea what is this dish called. There is crispy fresh cabbage and strips of pork in it. Very yum yum!!! Both main courses were disappointing! Especially the curry sauce... Too watery. Doesn't taste like Jap curry at all! continue reading
