Decided to check out this place after seeing reviews online. This place is pretty inaccessible by public transport, hence it would be best to drive there. It served western cuisine, with pizza as their specialty. The portion of the food is huge especially the pizza. Waiting time for food is about 15 to 20 minutes which is very reasonable. I love the crust of the pizza as it was baked till perfection with a little bit of burnt smell and taste.

My brother recommended this restaurant to me and I took my friend there to try. First of all their service was really good! The waiters were really attentive and they would help split your food into portions if you are sharing. I would recommend their risotto and ravioli as it is really nice. The ravioli was match with a slightly spicy tomato base sauce which compliments perfectly. The risotto was just nice and it was not too creamy either.

Came here at my friend's suggestion, as he stays around here and frequently buys the pizzas here which he says are good.Rocket saladThe rocket salad was not bad, with shavings of cheese and sundried tomatoes.Garlic breadThe garlic bread here is really special, as it's more like a garlic pizza instead. The crust is thin and crispy, but I think there's not enough garlic. Also, I'll prefer if they used minced garlic. For this version, only some slices of garlic were present, more towards the centre of the bread/pizza crust only.Verdure pizza The verdure pizza had tomato, mozzarella, zucchini, eggplant, capsicum. The vegetables added a nice refreshing contrast to the overall taste. The pizza crust was thin and the tomato base quite tasty. Diavola pizzaIf you are more of a meat-lover, the diavola pizza will be suitable. It has tomato, mozzarella and spicy salami which were given in generous slices and were tasty too.The pizzas here are the Italian kinds with nice, thin pizza crusts. A nice place for gatherings and sharing of good pizzas.

I was spending some alone time by myself and decided to explore Jalan Riang area a bit as i know that stretch has some makan choices to check out. I was in the mood for Italian that day so i went straight for La Pizzaiola =) Since i was alone, i try not to be too adventurous and just ordered one item! The Calzone ($16.90) caught my attention cause it's a folded pizza. Imagine my amusement when it arrived as it looks like a big version of the curry puff. Haha! To me this is like yummy comfort food with simple basic ingredients (tomato, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms, olives) done in a nice way! I was enjoying it and especially when a pretty charming manager was serving me, completes the whole great experience!

This pizza place was very crowded when I went to Wimbly Lu the other day (it's located just next to Wimbly Lu), so I specially made a trip back there to give it a try. Reservations for dinner are recommended as the place isn't too big, and can be easily done via their website online.Their kitchen is visible to patrons, and they have an angmoh head chef. Service is extremely prompt as well, and their staff would refill your water every now and then. For appetizers, we had the Pane All'aglio: Garlic Bread ($6.90). It isn't your typical garlic bread, but pizza-like with a crispy crust, with shreds of garlic sprinkled on it. I love bread so it went well with me, but my friend thought that it was a little too bland. I wouldn't recommend this though, not exceptional and tasted a little like pita/naan, and it's better to save space for mains. We had the Pizzoccheri Della Valtellina ($14.90); it's basically pasta with butter, sage, potato and cheese. As it was stated that this was their specialty, I had high expectations for it. However, I was utterly disappointed. It came as a huge bowl covered with bread, and one of the staff helped to cut it up. It was extremely tasteless and hard to finish; the mixture consisted of pasta, pieces of potato and cheese, with a few pieces of greens, and was watery; it tasted like all these ingredients have just been thrown into water and boiled (without any spice whatsoever). For pizza, we tried the Proscciutto e Funghi ($15.90): pizza with ham and mushrooms. This was pretty average, crust was thin; the combination of ingredients wasn't impressive though. However, it's good for its price, as portion is big (8 slices of pizza); can probably be shared between 2 small eaters.Bill totalled around $45 for 2 persons for 3 dishes. Overall, this place has good and prompt service, but quality of food is debatable. Do go for their pizzas if you're with friends and in the vicinity, as their pizzas are the most value for money out of all dishes available; if not, it's not worth a special trip.
