After the revamp of Changi Airport Terminal 3, there are more eateries for shoppers and “flyers” before their flight. There is even a food court at the basement level with quite some stalls and open till midnight. Since we were there for supper, I decided to go for the fish ball noodles (Lai Heng) as that is the only few stalls which is still open. I had the fish ball mee kia dry version and it comes with fishballs, the noodles and fish cake. I was quite disappointed with the noodles as it is very dry and uncooked (very hard to chew…) the chili sauce is pretty normal and not as fragrant as those I love. The fishball however is okay, not very fishy smell and is quite bouncy. Don't think I will be back to have this in future... continue reading

We brought our overseas friend for a quick breakfast before boarding and we ordered a couple of local food and this stall was one of them. Hmm....the noodle was slightly over cooked and therefore was soggy and the vinegar was sour and not fragrant, also the quantity was little. Overall not appealing. continue reading

I was drawn to the vinegar smell while I was looking around in the food court. Without a second thought, I decided to have that for my dinner. And I presume I was not the only one that was drawn to the smell, the queue was never ending for the night. The mee was kind of soggy , but it still taste nice. I do not know if I was really hungry or I really love vinegar taste, I finished every bits of minced meat and every drop of the sauce! continue reading
