Lai Lai Casual Dining is a cheerful bistro decorated in bright hues. Service is brosk, polite and friendly - just like what you wpuld expect in Taiwan. The specialty here is Japanese style ramen served up with popular Taiwanese toppings like crispy chicken cutlet, crispy fish chunks, braised beef, chashu or braised pork. The beef ramen here needs no introduction. We decided to try something different this visit. The chashu ramen $8.90 is very good. Pity it does not include a braised egg as shown

The beef ramen here needs no introduction. We decided to try something different this visit. The chashu ramen $8.90 is very good. Pity it does not include a braised egg as shown in the menu; it is a separate order item at $1.80 - rather pricey for something that costs no more than 80¢ at the food court. The crispy fish ramen is nice $9.90 but the fish had been marinated too long so ended up being too salty.

For those who wish to skip the ramen for a light meal Lai Lai serves a small selection of street food typically sold at Taiwanese night markets such as oyster omelette, pancake or jian bing and tempura, starting from $4.90 for 3pcs of ebi fry.

The milky bubble tea at $3.50 is the best I've tasted in Singapore - silky smooth, thick and frothy and not saccharine sweet. Nice place to come to when you have cravings for Taiwanese food. Pity the menu does not include any desserts.

The egg roll here at Lai Lai is not bad but not really worth the price. It consist of egg and vegetable inside. It is quite tasty and delicious though and worth a try. Love the ice blended drinks here at Lai lai and the milk tea too although it could be a little sweet and the pearls a little hard. The red bean or the green bean ice blend is really good though.love the set meals!so affordable

Other than the taiwanese street food which is very popular, Taiwan is also known for its all so famous beef noodles! the beef noddles here at lailai is not bad but it is a little different from what is being served in Taiwan. The noodles used here is udon instead of the thinner noodles used in taiwan bit the dish is still good and i love the flavour of it. Beef is good.

For mains, i ordered the braised pork rice that came with perfectly seasoned pork (although a bit oily), braised egg and seasoned vegetables.

For sides, my favourite has to be the pig's intestines as its braised soft and packs a bunch of flavor. Will definitely be back for more!

I met a couple of friends for lunch at Lai Lai Causal Dining. I decided to order their signature Beef Noodles. Where else can you get good beef noodles except from Lai Lai. they had the soup version and the dry version. I went ahead with the soup version and boy did i not regret my choice. the beef soup was so tasty, i think their cook did a great job in preparing the broth. the beef itself was so tender and chewy. the noodles were good too, does not stick to the teeth. I am very satisfied.

However, both of them slurped up the delicious tangy q-q noodles and enjoyed the bouncy taste tremendously - Sure beats their 招牌 beef!

Lai Lai, direct translation to Come Come, really beckons you to go to this casual eatery with its value for money set. i went to lai lai causal dining for tea. As I ate a filling lunch, I only ordered their drinks. I ordered something I had not tried before, their chocolate freeze. When they served it, it looked really appetizing. The chocolate flavour was not too strong, it was not too sweet as well. There is koniyaku jelly inside. The koniyaku jelly is very chewy. it proves as a contrast in texture as compared to smooth chocolate freeze. It was actually very thirst quenching too great for hot hot days.

The beef noodle soup here is one of my favourite beef dish. The beef meat is really tender and juicy. And unlike most of the stalls selling this dish when the meat is difficult to chew, the version here is chewy. The noodles here are hand made by the chinese chef which are thick and not easily breakable. Lots of chye sim and beansprout can be found in the soup which make the taste of the noodle more crunchy and you will too enjoy the goodness nutrition and vitamins from these vegetables. Th

Anyway, the noodles come with a thick gooey dark coloured sauce with beef chunks. The beef is tender and flavourful though the tendons made it quite difficult to bite. The noodles, as a result of the thick sauce, ended up being quite salty and strong flavoured. The noodles also do not really have a bite in them. It seems like it is overcooked. Overall, I think their beef noodles are not as nice as imagined.

Lai Lai's beef noodle is one of the nicest beef noodles i've tried in Singapore. And Lai lai's outlet in NEX has become a favourite haunt of my family, especially on weekends. It has been a long while since I been to lai lai causal dining. If not for my mum and sister whom I accompanied to nex for cny shopping, I would have forgotten of this delicious beef noodle restaurant. The two of them suggested we head to lai lai for dinner. I added the minced salted vegetable into my soup to give it an extra sweetish and sourish taste.

The beef were cooked perfectly, very tasty and the infusion of the soup in the beef made it even tastier. The noodles were cooked just right, very springy. A great dish to order at lai lai.

I always saw beef noodle from TV,they also recommended the beef noodle, especially from Taiwan.
So i decided to have a try on it.

This is really not bad..!
The noodle is really nice, the softness is just right. But it is a bit tasteless. So must eat with the soup.
The beef is very nicely marinated and is very chewy. It is quite soft.
The soup is very nice and have some herbs taste.
There are many fresh ingredients in the bowl.

The noodle is very chewy and spongy.
I more prefer the dry one because the sauce given is thicker and more flavourful.
But i think not everybody can accept it as it is a bit too flavourful.
If pour in the soup given,it also taste nice.
The beef is really tender and flavourful.
But i really expect the noodle will be taste nicer..!
