Lao Ban was my favourite supper, always. No matter how full I was, I can afford another one bowl of Soya Beancurd. Second time to visit the kiosk here, there was no seat available and I took it away. I like its name and symbol, a very lovely old couple which was a blissful picture.Palely plain in appearance, don’t get deceiving by its look. Original flavour much sweeter, it tasted like a bit brown sugar. Silky smooth, the texture was jelly pudding soft. It was $1.50 for Original and $2.00 for Almond, not really cheap but delicious.

There is always a place where you can't never forget.. Living near Toa Payoh, i felt so honored to have a small shop called Lao Ban Beancurd.. I have tried the one at Old Airport Road near Dakota crescent... Wells, after church or evening mass on Sunday, i was greatly hungry and went to check out the Lao Ban beancurd at the Toa Payoh area.. There are no seats there but nevertheless we enjoyed the nice cool breeze by the veranda or isle along the corridor.. The taste is consistent... Like a slice of heaven in your mouth, no other feeling can roughly describe how i am feeling about the taste. Very smooth and the skin is obvious...Spent around $1.50 per serving of the Lao Ban Beancurd, what a day to end your weekend...
