FoodIt was already quite late in the night and there is nothing left for us in Ghim Moh Market. We decided to go to New Century Café which is just beside the market.I have ordered the fried Bee Tai Mak for $4.50. Thought it was very special to have this dish as we seldom see anyone sells it. Fried Bee Tai Mak is actually very similar to fried kway tiao just that there isn't any cockles in it. Since it was quite late and after my usual dinner time, I did not finish my meal as I find it quite oily. The fried KL noodles is a reason why we had chosen to buy our dinner from this stall as compared to others in the coffeeshop. This dish was well cooked, quite Malaysian style and not too watery as compared to the one we had from Malaysia Boleh - Jurong Point. They uses pork lard to cook therefore the noodles will not stick together. Comes with fish cakes and prawns too.ServiceService is good, since they are selling only 4 kinds of food, I will say they are quite specialised as the range is not very wide. AmbienceCrowds from the market had shifted over to this coffeeshop since the hawker centre is not operating at night.PriceStandard pricing considering that the quantity is generous.Recommendations / TipsIf you like KL Fried Mee, You can try that out! continue reading
