I'd recommend coming here after the dining crowd has gone as the condiments in the soup tends to be more bountiful at the end of the day. Herbal Chicken Soup
Lots of 'dang gui' essence inside and there was noticeably a lot of herbs used to make this soup. There was an entire chicken leg inside which was really juicy and full of meat.

Buddha Jump over the wall
Lots of mushroom, yam, and fish maw inside. You can see that this soup will really give a lot of energy to the Buddha to 'successfully' jump over the wall.

Had lunch with a business partner here after our meeting. He recommended me to try the herbal soups from this famous soup stall. I ordered the lotus root soup with rice for $5.00. The soup was full of ingredients. It got lotus root, peanuts and pork ribs too. The soup got nice peanut taste and not salty. The texture of pork ribs was soft and not chewy. It was filling with the rice.

I settled my dinner tonight at Lao Huo Tang. There is always long queue especially during meal time. Actually, this stall has been sprawling across Singapore quite a long time, because they offered a "healthier" choice for their customers.I ordered the Pear Pork Ribs Soup and Pumpkin Rice, where the soup with no MSG added I think. Look at the shinning golden pear, it was attractive definitely. Its texture was smooth and soft.Besides, the meat portion was generous, and I love its Pumpkin Rice, it

Besides, the meat portion was generous, and I love its Pumpkin Rice, it tasted awesome. The soup costed $4.50, while the pumpkin rice was $0.80.

My first time to try out this Lao Huo Tang, I heard that their soup were boiled over the charcoal fire. Well, I am not too sure about how to differentiate the soup in pot whether in gas flame or charcoal fire, but soup from Lao Huo Tang definitely will bring you back to childhood memories especially for those elderly. Located at Gourmet Paradise Foodcourt, near Toa Payoh Bus Interchange whereby you may find a wonderful soup that you want. The soup was healthy and savoury without adding any MSG.

Located at Gourmet Paradise Foodcourt, near Toa Payoh Bus Interchange whereby you may find a wonderful soup that you want. The soup was healthy and savoury without adding any MSG. And the rice was so yummy, I just cannot stop eating spoon by spoon.

All that being said, the soup tasted awesome. The price was reasonable, costed $5.20 per set. Would definitely try their other soups in the future.
