This time I went to Lava Rocks, I decided to dine in. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Chop and you can choose two sides from the list of Hot and Cold sides. The wait for the meal to arrive was about ten minutes, even though there were quite a few customers ahead of me ordering.The presentation of the Grilled Chicken Chop was quite "High Class", where you do not see in Kopitiam or Hawker Centre. The sides were also put into smaller bowls like those in Nandos.The grilled chicken meat was tender but slightly on the bland side and the outer layer was not as crispy like the Golden Rooster stall nearby.i would still prefer have my Grilled Chicken Chop at Golden Rooster if I was to be in Clementi Central.

There are a current promotion for selection of crispy chicken or fish with a side of butter rice or french fries for only $3.90. The promotion is from lunch to 5pm. The crispy chicken that came with the set is quite small but definitely worth the value of $3.90. You can up size your chicken to a bigger for an extra $3. The breaded chicken cutlet was fried nicely to give it a slightly crispy texture. The seasoning did not stand out much. I opted to go with the butter rice but the texture of the rice turned out to be too grainy, hard with little buttery taste too. I will go with french fries next time.
