Friendly restaurant under MOF, Lenas served mainly Western cuisines. Interesting and extensive menu, there were plenty appealing choices or combinations under each section. I was having lunch with my friend at here, cozy and hassle-free environment. Solid and filling bowl-shaped of rice, it accompanied by deep-fried chicken cutlet with pouring of flavourful curry. Refreshing assorted veggies were dressed aside, it balanced up entire plate. Generous portion without feeling super stuffed, the food was above my expectation. Overall, we were quite satisfied and enjoyed the lunch. continue reading

Lenas and ministry of food was from the same company hence they share their seats and tables over at jurong point outlet. I tried their pizza before and it wasn't fantastic. But this time i decided to try baked rice. It was nice, but i got quite sick with the cheese after some time. The other was my friend's dish which is quite nice too. Total we spend around $50plus for 3 person, which i think is quite reasonable. Even during dinner time, it is very easy to find a seat too. continue reading

LENAS/MOF is one of the more atas restaurant choices in Jurong Point, and one that I will choose for a quieter spot to chit chat with my friends. It is located right beside Seoul Xpress, FEAST and across Malaysia Boleh on the 3rd floor... quite prominent looking, it can't be missed. I was debating over two very attractive offers on the menu: First, the Abura Soba Set Lunch ($12.80++) which offers ramen (red/white/black) with two side dishes + soup + watermelon,Or, the LENAS Set Lunch ($12.50++) which includes dory fish/ grilled chicken + 1 side dish (choice of garden salad/ sweet corn/ whipped potato/ potato wedges/ baked potato/ pilaf rice) + iced lemon tea + sauce on the side (black pepper/ mushroom/ savoury apple/ green salsa). In the end I chose the LENAS Set Lunch: Grilled Chicken + Pilaf Rice + Iced Lemon Tea with Savoury Apple sauce on the side. It exceeded my expectations quite a bit. The highlight of the whole meal was surprisingly the savoury apple sauce which complemented with the pilaf rice and grilled chicken perfectly. It is slightly sweet, with quite an authentic apple texture (not apple flavouring/syrup) and definitely recommended. The grilled chicken was okay, tender enough but not too memorable. The pilaf rice is a little on the bland side but easily fixed with the sauce. From the picture it seems like a very small portion - but it managed to get me from 0% hunger level to about 85%. A good, comfortable portion. Well done and it's also quite affordable. continue reading

I had my dinner at LENAs. Ordered a main dish and a green tea macha. I realized that the tea very awful and sour, thus I asked the waiter to add in more water. It didn't really help to smooth-en out the sour taste, hence I had to painfully finished half the glass so as not to waste my money! Will not order this drink again and definitely will not recommend this to anyone. continue reading

I ordered the brunch set which consist of a nice yellowish scramble egg, a piece of cake with several slices of bacon, nice golden brown hashbrown and some salads. The scramble egg is well cooked and seasoned, with a soft and fluffy texture. As for the cake, it has a soft and spongy texture. As for the the bacon wise, it has a slightly burn on the sides but is not too burn. The golden hashbrown is well deep fried, with a crispy outer texture and a soft texture on the inside. Lastly, the salad is mixed with a light and refreshing salad juice. Overall, quite a nice and tasty brunch set. continue reading
