A lot of Thai restaurants for those who looking for hotly spicy dishes, Lerk Thai was one of them and situated in the middle of Orchard where sandwiched by shops on both sides. Rice vermicelli was cooked perfectly, characteristic was springy chewy. Well absorbed with tangy gravy, noodles were tossed into the wok during the frying. Little spicy, shrimps and other ingredients were freshly delicious. Side dish would be Deep-fried Pandan Leaf Chicken, popular must-try cuisine in Bangkok. Leaves were used to keep the juiciness and fragrant of tender chicken, everything was nicely wrapped inside the parcel. Well, another signature food was Tom Yum soup. Clear fiery soup came along with assorted Seafood, absolutely tempting. Overall was a pleasant trip, price was reasonable too.

Was hoping to try get some quick Japanese food at Isetan (which always seem to be holding Japanese food fair) but was met with a Thailand food festival fair instead. The chef was cooking some glass noodles/rice on the spot for the customers. I was hooked! I ordered a chicken glass noodle ($5) and was charged $6 instead. The cashier pasted the wrong sticker on my box and quickly apologized, refunding a $1 to me without any hesitation. Good service!
The glass noodle was soft and fragrant; there were also a generous serving of chicken and egg. A gripe that I had is that there should be more vegetable!
Other than that, for such a fast meal, it was quite good.

Currently Isetan Supermarket is having a thai promotion and Lerk Thai has setup a booth there too. I can smell delicious food by the chef cooking at the booth, so decide to order a pack of fried tang hoon for takeaway. $5 for chicken and $6 seafood. I order the seafood version. Beware of the pack as it is very hot. It tastes quite nice and dry with the various seafood but a bit too salty.

Stop by for a lunch at Lerk Thai. Ordered their 7 course set lunch (Cashew Chicken) with Lemon grass drink. The tomyam soup is nice and sour. Somehow increase your appetite. Taste of fishcake is nice and chewy. The leaf wrapped chicken is great. Well marinated and tasty. Too bad there's only 1 of it. Tofu taste is normal. Nothing fantastic about it. The main cashew taste great. Juicy and tender. The desert is nice. Taste of coconut is just right. For the taste, price and atmosphere, it's worth

For the taste, price and atmosphere, it's worth it to dine there for lunch. Set meals that is.

My friends and I decided to have lunch at Lerk Thai the other day. We decided to go for the 7 Course Authentic Thai Set as we like to have a variety in our meals. My friends ordered the green curry chicken set and they told me that the chicken meat was tender and the green curry was yummy. I find the set meal very filling and value for money because they actually gave us soup, salad ,rice, a few side dishes like the tofu which went really well with the thai sweet chilli and a dessert to top off the meal. Will definitely order it again!!! I noticed that they sell bottled sauces for famous thai dishes like Pineapple fried rice, Phad thai Seafood, green mango salad. I bought the black pepper sauce and pineapple rice sauce and was so thankful that they provided me with a recipe booklet to prevent a cooking disaster from happening at home! haha!

Went there last week with some friends. I ordered the Phad Thai...nice! The prawns were fresh the manager was very friendly and always with a smile. The service staff who took our orders was very helpful and gave us some recommendations, as we couldn't make up our mind. Portion is just nice for me too, enough to fill our stomach. For that kind of tasty food served, I think the set lunch is really value for money. Ambience-wise, great for friends gathering, because it's casual and open-concept,
