The Premier Pitch at Turf City offers alternative spaces for Futsal fanatic. I drop by there to cheer for a friend in a friendly match after work one day. The nearest shopping mall at that area is The Grandstand. Frankly speaking, it is quite out of the way and if not for the match, I don’t think I will go there. Luckily, able to get a bowl of Gingko Pork Tripe Pepper Soup and Pumpkin Rice. The appearance of the soup is milky in color. Initially, I could only taste the sweetness of the soup, however after few mouthful I could taste the peppery sensation. The Pork Tripe too soft, probably due to the long hours of boiling.

This bowl of wanton mee cost $3.30. The noodle portion was a little small. The noodle was hard and tasteless. The char Siew was ok, tasted normal. The fried wanton was crispy, but the meat in there was very sad. I had requested for the seller to throw in some vegetables, but they were unwilling and only put in like a strand to entertain me. It's pretty disappointing really. I wont have it again.

If you visit The Grandstand and looking for a budget meal. You have got to check out the herbal soup stall inside the Let's Eat Food Court. They offer set lunches at $4. I highly recommend their Signature braised Pork Dish with white rice. The signature pork is tender and well braised. There are some fats which makes the pork juicy and yum. It's also served with steam egg and vegetables that changes daily. The vegetables sides makes the meal a well balanced meal one that gives you the overall sat

The Dry Mee Pok with Fishball (original $3.40 but $4 for top-up noodles) here is average, and has lots of room for improvement. First, the serving size is just too small. Even after I topped up noodles, the serving size is only just right for me. Second, the noodles were clumpy (signs of not dipping it in the hot water long enough) and well, that is my number one pet peeve when eating noodles (clumpy ones). The fishballs and fish cakes were after all, processed food and I can't really say much

Came here over the weekend for breakfast. We ordered 1 hot milk tea and one cold milk tea from the drinks stall. The Cold milk tea was decent, and quite refreshing tasting quite good, however the warm one was really a let down. The warm milk tea was not nearly milky enough, and was barely sweet, making it rather tasteless. Quite inconsistent in the quality level of drinks here.
