Chanced upon this Hainanese Chicken Rice stall, that looks more like a roasted meat stall, with all the char siew, barbeque meat, and roast chicken. The stall had a photo of our ex-president with the chef, and various awards for excellence in culinary.Bought this plate of Char Siew Wanton Noodles for $3, and it's worth every cent of my money. First of all, the portion is generous. There are 3 pieces of freshly fried wanton, and many slices of char siew. The fried wanton was extremely crispy, but it lacked fillings in it. The char siew was roasted a little differently, as it focused more on the roasted flavour rather than just the sweet taste. Noodle was Q, and the chef made the effort to mix up the noodle with the sauce properly before serving.I would come to this stall again for their Char Siew Wanton Noodles, or try some of their other dishes next time.
