Was sinking for noodles and searched this popular place. Ordered their signature dish with fishballs of course. The waiting time was slight longer than usual due to lunch time. The noodles texture is nice but portion look small for me. The spiciness was good with Chilli too. The main dish of fishball was fresh. It is a popular local dish from singaporean. continue reading

It is my 5-6th visit to this stall and every time the quality tell you why you want to go back to them.It is very traditional teochew noodle stall, just basic noodle with fishball. For a dry noodle it will comes with a separate bowl of 5 fishballs as shown in my photo. The dry mee pok is just my favorite, they mix it with both tomato and chilli sauce - not just the color but it is very well mixed. The mee pok is well cook and thus remain very Q. I think more importantly is the fresh and big fishball. NICE.The only things that they still need to improve will be how to enhance service queuing which is always very long. As I always like to say, customer is not just wanted to have good food but also good service. We may not mind queuing but there is always a better to improve queuing then just standing in the queue for 15-25 minutes. For people who do not mind long queue, I strongly recommend this outlet. For the food, both thumb up!!! continue reading

My Sister in Law was raving to me about this nice teochew fishball noodles at the newly opened food republic at Bread Talk HQ, so I decide go and give it a trylocated at the corner of the food republic, and they have a few noodles types to choose from yellow noodles to bee hoon to kueh tiao..I ordered the bee hoon dry and is very satisfied with my order. The sauce is thick and the bee hoon fully absorbed the sauce, nice and remind me of my days during school days when we had fishball noodles dry in schoolthe fishballs are springy and the fish dumplings are nice, the skin is springy and the minced pork filling is fresh and nice, very different than what I eat outside.. continue reading
