Long John Silver's

I thought this Caribbean Spicy Fish/Chicken is for limited period only and still, today I happen to see it available in their menu so decided to settle for Spicy Chicken as my lunch.At $6.50, you can enjoy the great taste of their fries and chicken along with a drink of your choice (mine is Coca-Cola). Simply love their fries since the start and with a small amount of their spicy powder sprinkle over the fries, it further enhances the taste from the already nice and crispy fries. I used to find their chicken a little hard in texture so I always go for fish. But today after trying, it has a little improvement. At least you don't need to chew that hard. What makes the normal chicken set with this is probably the spices they used in preparing. Definitely a difference. And the shrimps are marvellous. I always look forward to their shrimps because their crispiness and aroma from it never fail me all the time. I had the whole shrimp, together with the shrimp tail. When I walked pass the Long John Silver's, i was surprised that they have a new drink. It was mint milo. the first thing that came to my mind was that can mint and milo actually go together. milo is originally milky base. and for any drink with mint, it can go two ways, right or wrong. it can go so wrong that every sip you take it is so bitter. but for this drink, the mint actually complemented the milo. the amount of mint they added was not too much. when you swallow the milo, it had this coldness filling down your throat. i took up the meal so that the drink can be cheaper. their fried chicken fillet at this branch is really good, the meat is very juicy and most importantly, it was not too oily.…Read More

tried this seafood platter quite some time ago and this promotion was only available for a short period of time. the fried stuff were quite nice and i think the chips was especially nice because of the cheese dip. cant remember the name of the drink but it tasted quite nice, is like mango syrup in soda with tadpole like pearls which were quite crunchy…Read More

This is one of the worst fast food joint that I have visited. Not only were the staff slow in serving their customers, I actually witnessed a staff looking in the mirror and squeezing in pimple in the resturant (which I think is not right a staff to do that in the restaurant). Personally, I feel that food standard has deteriorated over the years. The fish (as shown in picture) was dry and I felt that crust was thicker than the fish meat. This long john is 1 of the biggest outlet i ever see, Most long john are quite small. Went with 4 of my friend and manage to get a long table for the 5 of us. Went during weekdays so there's not alot of people, the staff are friendly and polite and greeted us when we went in. Order quite afew but i going to review on that i order, I order a Golden deal 2 that is 1 fish and 1 chicken with some fries and a cup of drink. Served with drinks and some sauce and the staff told me to have a seat and will served me shortly, I bring my drink back and about 10 minute my food came. The fries is warm but the fish and chicken is Hot with smoke coming out when i cut the meat open, the fish and chicken is crispy but for the chicken is alittle hard compare to the fish and i feel that the fish taste alot better than the chicken with tartar sauce.
