Long Sen Hokkien mee does not only sell hokkien mee but they sold a variety of food. One of it is carrot cake. However, i think the carrot cake was not nice. Well, it is not the best i had eaten and i had told the uncle not to add any chilli but i don't think he was paying attention to me and added chilli into my carrot cake! -.-" Oh well, but i still think even without the chilli the chili could not taste any better! because the texture of the carrot cake is just not there. I will not try the carrot cake again for sure. continue reading

I was at Bukit Gombak today and tried this store that was recommended by my friend. Scanning through the pictures on the board, their black carrot cake really attracts me, so i ordered it and haha... i regretted. The look is great, golden, shiny black, but the taste is bad. Their is totally no egg taste at all and i taste is the plain carrot cake with a little chili added. Honestly speaking, I will not recommended this store to anyone! continue reading

I bought a packet of fried hokkien mee near my house for lunch this afternoon. I used to eat their fried hokkien mee and laksa quite often many years ago. Its been quite awhile i ate their fried hokkien mee, think their standard remain about the same, nothing much changed, the taste, price and portion still about the same after so many years. Its quite a pity that their ingredients is quite little, there is two prawns (quite small size) and some soto and some eggs, but their taste is still quite good. But luckily, their mee is not too little. This fried hokkien mee stall is quite a popular stall at that coffeeshop. continue reading
