Had my chocolate fix after ordering chocolate addict on a hot hot day. Went down to Jurong and was looking around for Makeshake. I saw the recommended items on the menu and decided to got for the Chocolate Addict. I was not dissapointed. It had just the right amount of chocolate sauce and Kit Kat bits in it. When I slurp it down my throat, the nice cool sensation made the hot Singapore day seem to dissapear. The staff was nice too. Love the cup design btw.Read More

Tried many other milkshakes before which were often too sweet and "gelat" but MakeShake was different! As a fruit lover, I was attracted to the fruit milkshakes and decided on Lychikiri (lychee+strawberry) among many others. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and the sweetness level was just right. There were even fruit bits at almost every sip!  Texture of the milkshake was very smooth and it was not too thick for me.  I highly recommend the fruit milkshakes to those who prefer a lighter and more refreshing taste.Read More

Make Shake is a new drinks outlet operating in Jurong Point offering customizable milkshakes. Fear not if you are not sure what to get, one can easily pick a drink or two out of their menu. After lunch one day, I decided to try out their drinks and got a yoghurt-infused milkshake that came with rainbow sprinkles. However I felt that these drinks were quite overpriced and not quite worth the price. Still it’s popping neon colors on a black blackground used in their shop front is certainly attractive to the younger crowd.Read More

I had a voucher for $2 Nutella Mini Shake because I signed up for their online membership. I enjoyed the Oreo makeshake the other time with another 1-for-1 voucher, and thought that why not another one, since I have a discount this time! MakeShake has quite a lot of promotions and vouchers to be won, so might want to Like their FB page to stay in the loop (not an advertisement, just a genuine advice) if you're a fan of their milkshakes but find that it's too expensive. I must say that this has an interesting taste. The original price is $3.80 for the mini one, if I'm not wrong. Which is very expensive especially it's so tiny! But good things do come in fun-sizes, as every sip is thick and luscious, it might even have trouble sliding up the straw even though it's already very smooth. The nutella taste is not that strong, with hints of the distinct hazelnuts and more faint chocolate undertones. Yummy! And it's not the "heaty" sort if you're imagining eating Nutella straight from the bottle, but strangely kind of refreshing. You might want to try it if you can get over the price... I know the quality, texture and thickness is much better than normal bubble tea shops but still it is so small. At $2, I would think it fits in my budget more adequately. Only two tables (four seats) available, usually bought for take-away.For more food adventures, follow me at http://spherepiece.blogspot.sg/Read More

I had tried the mini oreo milk shake from make shake today and it costs me $5.00 for 2 (I cut out a coupon from the Jpeeps newspaper which is given by Jurong Point). The orginal price was $3.90 for the mini size drink! Well, this is my first time trying it and i think the taste was great! However, my partner thinks it was not nice! It was very creaminess and sweet and after awhile, you might taste some saltiness. Well, it was very thick so somehow it is more like an ice cream than a milk shake. Read More

I thought this is something that is in trend after all the Taiwanese bubble tea and decided to give it a try. I had chosen the "Green Monster" drink for its small size initially but the staff had reconfirmed with me by showing me the cup size. It was indeed very small, similar to McDonald's kid meal drink. After some considerations, I had chosen the medium size and it cost me S$5.40.In my mind, I was expecting some Green Tea Milk shake but I was wrong. I was given a cup of vanilla white shake with tiny Oreo bits in it instead of some green monster looking stuff. The packaging of the disposable cup is rather cute with its "spectacles".It was actually peppermint with Oreo milkshake. Quite refreshing and sweet. Love it! However price is on a high side, if only it can match the price of a Pearl Milk Tea. Here's the total amount spent! I will be back for more!Read More

I presumed that this is one of the trendiest drinks in town right now! The concept of MakeShake allows you to customize 'mix and 'match' flavours altogether. Doesn't sound sinful enough? Here's what I have ordered. For the base, I chose 'Vanilla Ice Cream' and topped up with 'Nutella' and 'Oreo Cookies' to create a "black n white" milkshake. The mixture resulted in a relatively smooth texture with bits of blended oreo cookies. Tasted not so bad afterall. Read More

Oreo milkshake... tastes familiar like Mcflurry

The title says it all. My friend and I tried this small Oreo Milkshake at $2.80 (we had a 1-for-1 voucher for Oreo Milkshake so technically it was $1.40 each for us), and our first reaction after the first sip was that - "Isn't this Mcflurry?!" It is essentially the same taste, except that it is less ice-creamy and more "fluid" and possible to be sucked up through the straw albeit a bit difficult to do so because it is very thick and viscous. I would only buy it only if I have the voucher, because I might as well be eating Mcflurry. The size is very small for the price too. Not value-for-money, but it might be more worth it for other flavours. Do not try the Oreo Milkshake unless you want to eat Mcflurry, well then it is much more clever to get it at McD for $2. Try other flavours instead! ;) Only two or three tables at this outlet, usually people buy it to drink it on-the-go or for takeaway. Read More

The Waffle Ice-Cream tasted not too bad but not too surprising either. The ice-cream melted so fast that it spilled onto the table. The Chocolate Addict had a chocolate ice-cream base with a kit-kat flavour which I additionally had Oreo toppings. It tasted great and I had regretted not ordering a bigger size because it was so chocolatey! For a full review and more photos, visit http://makanarts.com/2013/07/01/makeshake-jurong-point/.Read More

Tried makeshake because I wanted a drink after dinner! Choose the mini cup (vanilla ice cream at $2.8) together with oreos. The mini size cup was really a small cup but don't underestimate it! Because the drink is an ice cream blended drink, it's not a drink where you can just use a straw and drink it easily! You have to suck really hard on the straw to get the first sip into your mouth! It was really fun drinking it and before I finished it, I was already full! It was really good but abit too sweet for my liking. I like how the oreo bits blends nicely with the ice cream There's also seats available but not many. Read More

Had a craving for something sweet after dinner and MakeShake just appeared right there! At MakeShake, you get to customize your own drink! First step, choose your shake base (Vanilla/Chocolate/Froyo) and size (Regular/Large). Second step, choose the shake flavours you want to blend into your shake. You can mix and match any combination you want! At the last step, you can choose which toppings you want to add into your shake. If you're not sure/lazy to customize your drink, MakeShake also offers different set shakes to choose from! I chose the Chocolate Addict, which is a combination of chocolate base and kit kat. The first sip sent me straight to heaven! It was that awesome!!! Read More

Their signature was their milkshake but i find it fattening so i just tried their plain froyo It cost $3.80 for a small cup & add 0.80cent for each topping but i find it too expensive so i never add any topping ,Their froyo tend to melt fast & i don't really like the strong milk taste& also i find it a bit too sweet, for the price of $3.80 i rather top up for sour sally froyo As for service, staff was quite friendly, waiting time about 5-10mins Read More
