Went rather late to get supper here and by the time, they did not have any chicken rice balls anymore so we settled for the normal chicken rice not in the shape of the rice balls. The rice was rather fragrant, not oily/lumpy. The chicken was smooth and tender and the soy sauce gravy made the chicken taste even better. Price for this was $5 which was reasonable considering that the chicken they gave wasn't little. Overall, it's worth a try

Attracted by the fragrance from a distance, decided to try out this stall. The chicken meat is quite tender and the light soya sauce in added in sufficient amount such that the meat does not turn out to be too salty. The rice balls, is quite disappointing. It does not have the rich chicken rice fragrance in it, and taste rather normal. I have to eat it with chili so that the rice does not taste so plain. Comparing to those authentic ones in Malacca, this is a ultimate failure.

Quite some time back I spent some time in Resorts World Sentosa for a staycation and after walking around the area in search for dinner we decided to visit the Malaysian Food Street, where I got to try this stall. The plate of chicken comes with 5 rice balls. It wasn’t the usual rice that we are familiar with our chicken rice here, but the rice balls were tightly packed and never became loose. The plate of chicken comes with 5 rice balls. It wasn’t the usual rice that we are familiar with our chicken rice here, but the rice balls were tightly packed and never became loose. The chicken was very succulent and smooth and absorbed the soy sauce well. The soy sauce wasn’t overwhelmingly salty and didn’t cover off the taste of the chicken. The dish was something that I just wanted more!

After a long day filled with fun, joy and laughter in Sentosa, one can only look forward to delicious local asian streetfood in the heart of a tourist destination. ALWAYS packed no-matter what hour you go. Chicken rice is a favourite among the asians, and it's definitely a must-try for tourists when they come to Singapore. With an interesting decoration of Malaysian street-stall style, one tends to linger longer than usual and buy more food than usual. See how it's just so packed!Decided to try

Decided to try the Malacca Chicken Rice balls, it must have taken a lot of effort to wrap them into a ball like that. Looks like a potato, maybe. Anyway, it's quite affordable for a tourist destination, less than $7. DELICIOUS it sure is! Definitely a must-try for both locals and tourists-alike!

However, the service staff didn't do as well as expected. Most of them aren't local either, so I guess they're not trained for service awards.

Hi..Openricer. At Sentosa to try the malaysian food street again. This time round was early but still you can find alot of people over there all time.

As this is my second time there, decide to try different dishes.

But first need to find a good seating place.

Next I decided to Q at this stall. Malacca Chicken Rice Ball. Not rice but they make it to a ball. Just like fish ball.
Cost of the chicken rice set $4. come with chicken meat, soup and five chicken rice balls.

The chicken meat they steam is not the same as the one you find at food court or hawker centre.
Normally you get white skin, but this their skin is yellow. Making it sweet. The meat is tender. not dry at all.

The rice balls. Very Sticky. But small. The taste is nice but U need to add with the chicken sauce. Guess you are at sentosa, foods here is expensive.

Must go to malacca one day to try their chicken rice balls and compare.
Overall. Good Chicken meat and rice ball.

This is the first time I tried chicken rice ball. I don't think there is any place besides this chicken rice stall in Malaysian Food Street sells it. Given that the rice gotta to be made into a ball, the rice is kinda sticky as compared to the usual chicken rice rice. Nevertheless, it tastes good as well. Given that this stall is in RWS, it is inevitable that the food is slightly more expensive.

The queue for this stall is quite long but not to worry the queue moves fast also. The chicken is so tender and smooth! I like the rice balls a lot also as it is something special that we don't get in Singapore. This set only costs me $4 and i was so shocked at the price. I would say it is definitely recommended that you come and try this out soon. yay to cheap and great food!

A set meal for one person, which comes with two rice balls and a plate of chicken. Compared to the usual chicken rice that is more robust, the unique rice ball is soft and mushy, retaining the authentic flavour of chicken stock and the desired fragrance of pandan leaves. The steamed white chicken is fresh and tasty and served in a generous portion for its price.

The chicken is tender, nicely cooked skin in yellow color. sweet & juicy meet.
The rice is so-so only. a bit hard, no taste,. I had to dip into the sauce. Unlike the normal hainanese chicken rice which is oily.
I must admit, the rice ball is not oily. I thought they were made from glutonious rice cos it is quite sticky.

Cheap and good consider eating it in RWS. I must say it is the cheapest there.

From the shape of the chicken rice balls, you could tell that they are actually made by machine, which is different from those hand-made rice balls I had ages ago in Malacca. These machine-made rice balls are harder in texture, but they taste good. The aroma of the rice is so nice, and I could eat heaps of them with just the garlic chilli sauce. The chicken are very juicy and tender, and their skin are silky smooth. Bathed in the aromatic soy sauce, this dish is irresistably yummy.
